Modern Tools Graphics
With 9 entries it was much bigger than the oldschool graphics compo, but the quality wasn't really much better. While some images were really done nicely, others looked a bit weird or even heartless. All in all it will be still a very interestingg compo, but imho the oldschool compo was a bit better.
Tracked Music
Four competitors here, except for the first with totally poor audio quality all tracks were pretty good. othing really surprising, but still worth listening.
Loop
Now this was a surprising compo. The idea is that the artist creates a small music snippets with a maximum length of 7seconds and this snippet will be looped for 30 seconds. There were 16 (!) entries, with many excellent ones among them. Interesting to see, how creative and skilled some (sadly not all) artists can use just 7 seconds!

Outside of the party halls the demo group nuance had their special event by spending their well deserved winner money from the buenzli party to buy loads of fat meat to have a great BBQ with their scene friends. It was YUMMY! 
The invisible heroes
Yes, I think it should be mentioned that the organizers do a awesome job here. So I think it's about time to at least show two of them here. The photo shows Katje and SaVke (the guy in the background... yes, the one who had this windscreen trouble on rewired2008).
