My dad and I started on June the 19th and I promised to keep my blog kinda up-to-date about the travel. So feel free to have a look around and read...19th of June 2009
At around 7:10pm my dad arrived at my appartment. We just threw in my stuff (clothes, netbook, mp3-player, backpack and shoes) and left my home.
We drove north and stopped after around 3 hours of driving somewehere south of Osnabrück.

Around 8am we were ready to start, after a nice breakfast and putting everything in position to go on. All was fine... except for our mobile home: It didn't start. So we called for the automobile club service and waited...
Around 20minutes later the ADAC-technician arrived and fixed our car by selling us a new battery. After quite some times with bureaucracy (took more than 1 hour), we went on... and drove directly into a really large traffic jam, where we lost another 2 hours. So instead of passing Hamburg around 1pm, we finally passed it around 5pm (directly driving into the next traffic jam).
Wasn't a lucky day, and we stopped driving just before Odense in Denmark. But now we're relaxing and that's all for now.

"Mr. Blue Sky" reached us today. After heavy clouds and rain we came into hours of clear blue sky and some single clouds, so we made quite a long way, crossing the bridges of Store Bælt (around 20km together) and the famous bridge connecting Denmark with Sweden, afterwards passing Malmö, Göteborg and Oslo making our way almost to the lake Mjøsa.

We continue driving the road E6, towards Trondheim. Today we made a short stop in Hamar, where I tried to find a bank. So I asked in (my poor) norwegian and got helped in way better english. I really need to improve my norwegian, but the holidays just have started, so I hope there'll be more possibilities to learn. At least I now have enough money so we can make our way further to the north. Later we passed Lillehammer (winter olympics 1994), Dombås and followed the Old Kings Way between Rondane and Dovrefjell. Today we stopped at a camping ground near Driva, around 10km before Oppdal (where you can visit ancient viking graves).
