Dragon Age, wacom
In preparation of the upcoming Dragon Age Toolset I recently bought a brand new WACOM graphics tablet. It's the biggest one of the new Bamboo Pen & Touch series, so it is capable of replacing my mouse, too. I already tried it and it works really nice, but the best is still the pen.
Even though it's not as precise as the pen I got on my Intuos2 A3 (larger than my 26" LCD screen!), it's good enough to create graphics and texture right from scratch. Perfect for photo editing and drafting... and you even get some pretty cool software on top of it like
Corel Painter Essentials 4!
I really can't wait to finally get the Dragon Age Toolset and start creating content for the game!

After quite some time I decided, that it's time for a new skin for my blog. I will change the skin step by step into a theme skin dedicated to the video game Dragon Age: Origins, which will get released at the beginning of November.
I will write down some notes about the process here... just in case someone's interested.

Bioware, Dragon Age, Cologne, Gamescom
Yesterday I visited the Gamescom 2009 in Cologne, to see the latest video games, play some minutes with some of the best upcoming titles and to get my hands on some games that I might want to buy. But the most important reason for me was the DragonAge-Toolset, which I want to use for a mod I want to create right after Dragon Age - Origins is released.
