It's time to start sanding the figuring. This step takes alot of patience, patience and patience again. For a small figurine like the one I'm using here, it will take 10-14 hours of humidification, concentrated sanding and careful cleaning. Even if you work every evening on the figurine it will still take a whole week, so remember... be patient and relax.

In the second step I now buy the tools and equipment I need. I cut off the some rough parts, deburr the figurine and prepare it for step three. I will try to provide a photo for every step, but some photos might be of poor quality due to the fact that I have only 2 hands.

This is a kind of seperate blog inside my blog. My friends asked me to write a blog about howto grind, assemble and paint a figurine made of resin. I did that for quite a while some years ago, but let down this hobby after I started to work. Now I will give it another try and bought an "ordinary" figure of Motoko Kusanagi as seen in the TV series "Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex".
I will try to provide this blog in 3 languages:
english as it is my blog language,
german for my friends to read it and
norwegian for myself to get some more experience in it. I hope you'll like it (and that it won't take too long for updates).
