About me

An Englishman as I am, I came to Japan many years ago to learn about the language, history, and culture. I'm interested in language learning and linguistic development in children. I'm also interested in Buddhism and have studied at three temples in the past three years.

My work

The Vice Chairman of a Family Welfare Centre (Non Profit Organization) located here in Japan. We provide general education for children, as well as counselling for people regarding family issues. We also work closely with handicapped children. Our aim is to provide a better society in which families can bring up their children. I'm also a freelance translator/interpreter for a number of organizations, including the Nagoya Metropolitan Police Force.

Why I choose the Opera browser

It's cool! It's faster than IE, and looks a lot better. I like a lot of the extras, too. The Opera Community is especially good!
