1-Thanks good job but I think other languages should come as default inside program.Do you think to add enxt time? or is it hard to do that?

2-And if you can type change points in language file in english we can translate this points clearly in a new language file.Otherwise we have to check all changing points by one by inside a language file for the last verion each time.

thx.

1. its not difficult adding new languages. but its hard for me, if one version comes with 4 languages, the next version has 6 languages, next version has 5 languages and so on. i must recode the implementation of these languages everytime.
SearchEdit comes with 4 languages by default. i think, its a good agreement, because we are actually 3 active team-members. 1-2 members translate the language-files.

2. its not really difficult to check the changes. please see also: http://my.opera.com/SearchEdit/forums/topic.dml?id=229625
1 or 2 strings has changes in this version. not more.
all strings with *.2 are new strings.

Does this support Opera 9.5's search.ini ? There are too many annoying changes in it and i've lost all my favicons after clearing the cache. I can't get back most of the favicons :frown:

dude09 18. June 2008, 05:21

Great! Now it's getting even better. :D

ZAHEK 18. June 2008, 05:31

Yes I agree with you dude09:)

mikko211 18. June 2008, 10:33

thx for all.

@kitt
yes - SearchEdit support opera 9.5.

Creat0R 18. June 2008, 18:12

Thanks for the update
Russian language file is ready .

kitt 19. June 2008, 17:33

I added custom search engines to the search.ini created by 9.5's fresh installation. Then I deleted couple of the default search engines (Y shopping, ebay etc.,). I now have like 15 entries in the search box.

But, when I try to open this search.ini using the editor, it can't understand the file. It only displays like 2 or 3 search engines and some of the fields don't look quite right. Can you try to do the same thing I did ? The latest search.ini isn't supported by the editor.

mikko211 19. June 2008, 18:22

SearchEdit support the search.ini from opera 9.5 (all versions of Searchedit).

you must merge your global and your personally search.ini. please read my last post in this thread: http://my.opera.com/community/forums/topic.dml?id=236485

if you have problems or questions, then post it.

mikko211 21. June 2008, 14:28

i can implement ctrl+c/x/v in next version. good idea.

you can also use ctrl+shift+up/down for moving entries.
