If you've been to Japan, espiceally Akihabara (秋葉原）you've most likely seen otakus. But, what is an Otaku? You'll find out it this week's blog Exploring the Otaku...not exploting, becuase that's discusting . The term "Otaku" once meant another person's house. But, somehow became the english eqivalent of a geek. But, the american youth usually mistakes otakus for geeks and viece virsa. But, that is SO not true. I'm an otaku, and i'm not a geek But, seriously, this is deep sterotype of otakus. The persona of an otaku is this. They eat, sleep, dream, and whatever other wierd verb you can find, anime, manga, or anything other that is popular in Japan. As you can see here, some will go to the greatest ecstence. Believe it or not, this is my room. There are many alternative names for Otakus. Like cosplay, fanboy, moe (outdated), and geek. There are some very famous otakus. Like the prime minister of Japan, Taro Aso (麻生太郎) and Danny Choo. Even though it seems like a very small sub-culture, it is VERY POPULAR. Just go to Akihabara and tell me its small. I DARE YOU... Here is my first ever review. So, here we go. This song was released on April 15th, if you've made an account on their website. If not you have to wait 'till the 20th. Sorry I can't post the song here.

If you don't know who CKY is, It is mostly hard rock. Kind of a mix of rock and metal. Yeah, I know I'm not into rock. I like electronica better:yes: . But, this song is so good, I can't stop my self from listening to it:headbang: . If you don't know, Bam Margera's brother is the drummer of the band. Bam's actually from Jackass (I'm sure you all know that! ) More info here. This is their first single for their new album set to release on May 15th, Carver City.



The song starts of with a really catchy, octaved, distortioned guitar riff and awesome wah-wah pedaled guitars in the background done by the lead guitarist, Chad I. Ginsburg. Then, the song come to the reverbed, shimering vocals . The vocals are totally awesome, I can't even discribe it. Then, comes the solo. At first I thought the solo was in the background because you can hear very technical wah-wah guitar in the background. But, It's really a synth solo !!! At first, I was like, "whaa?!",but since the fact that I'm a electronica fan, it was pretty good . If you do get a hold of the song, you may hear weird sounds that sound like a passing cars . It really just vocals played backwards. Then it ends with "Hellions on parade" by it's self. This song's actually part of a trilogy of songs about a city called Hellview, were the people who live there (only 96! ) kill the tourists who come there:yikes: . The other songs are "96 Quite Bitter Beings" and "Escape from Hellview." But there is a song done by oiL (the original name for CKY) called "Thanks for the Ride" so take it as is. Over all This was an awesome song and, I think, would rank up as one of their classics.

This week is the greatest of all weeks. Why? It's Spring Break!!! Even though there is no school, I'm very bored.
