Seji says I look like a French in that picture

Could it be that my French class has already taken over? A picture today, a frog tomorrow?
I've recently met a person, let's call them XYZ, who is totally overreacting when it comes to certain topics, for example politics. I know that everybody has the right to support any option in the world and it's their decision or problem. However, one does not have the right to claim that they are better than others just because they vote/would vote for whoever they think should have influence on a country's situtation. This, I think, XYZ has no idea about.
I don't understand why some people find others worthless just because they don't share their religion, either. Even if I don't believe in God, Buddha or The Great Stain On The Wall, I respect those who do so. To be honest, I'm even impressed by some of them, especially when they still have the courage to believe, even after facing some terrible dificulties, bad luck and so on. Unfortunately, not everybody is able to realise that atheism means neither evil nor communism:
(In class, my friend turned the radio on and found a catholic radostation. Some women were saying "Our Father" and we were all laughing because they sounded like robot for most of the time, not because they were praying.)
XYZ: One musn't laugh about THAT! Turn it off if you want to laugh!
We didn't, though. Instead, we tried to explain that we were laughing because it sounded so strange and robotish. Some time later, one person said that his grandparents listen to that radio station all the time. Severall people told about theirs.
Me: Mine never really listened to it, only when they couldn't make it to go to church on Sunday morning.
XYZ: Do you go to church?
Me: No, I don't.
XYZ: Why? Do your parents do?
Me: Well, not really. When there's a wedding or something, it was my choice though.
XYZ: And your grandparents?
Me: Er... Well, yes, but, you know, not every single day...
XYZ: (In a very rude, mean and "I'm like totally better than you way") Oh, now I see why you don't believe in God.
Like, wow.
It's not that I care about what she said, I coulnd't care less, really. I know that my faith (or lack of it) doesn't make me a better or worse person. The thing is I was simply shocked by the way she said it. It's not her problem. I always thought that very little people are like that (I'm right because I'm /insert religion/party/whatever and you're wrong).
XYZ is somehow related to politics but she realy shouldn't say it on every possible occasion. I don't think anybody should do that, in general. It's not words but dids that count.

Just ignore them or stand and fight as you have right to have your own beliefs and nobody can tell you that you're wrong and their point of view is true/better/whatever.
