Black Roses Red

Promise you won't laugh at me Honestly, I am standing here, Afraid I'll be betrayed. As twisted as it seems, I only fear love when its in my dreams, So let in the morning light, And let the darkness fade away.
Can you turn my black roses red?
Drowning in my lonliness, How long must I hold my breath? So much emptiness inside, I could fill the deepest sea. I reach to the sky as the moon looks on, One last tear has come and gone, So let in the morning light, And let the darkness fade away.
Can you turn my black roses red?

I have to say damn that is a good, unique transitional use of the red rose image. Excellent. I loved it

"I only fear love when its in my dreams, So let in the morning light, And let the darkness fade away."
I believe it is our dreams that give us hope, and enable us to create a better world. We should allow love to power our dreams and not run away from them, or fear them.
Many people give up their dreams because their efforts were not successful or the result was painful. Those people who kept going, who did not quit will reach more goals and create a better life for themselves, and those around them. Too much of the 'Pop World' is full of negativity and a feeling of helplessness. Of course it is: They have given up on their dreams and don't believe in the power of love. Sex, drugs and rock and roll are no substitute for human compassion and the effort it takes to follow your dreams.
To fear love is to choose a path that is empty and unsuccessful. To fear the love of your dreams is to give up your life to the will of others. This is the nexus of our existence: the choice between love and fear.
