These are not trial versions with watermarks or time limits, but unlimited products that you can use as long as you wish. They are either old versions (DrawPlus 4) or Lite versions with a limited feature set. There are no nag screens, but email registration is required. If you don't wish to receive upgrade offers, then you can easily unsubscribe from the newsletters.
Don't give your phone number and you won't be bothered with sales calls.
After using these Lite versions you may want to upgrade to more powerful versions — that is the reasoning behind releasing these free versions.
