Introduction:
Another addition to the world of free MMORPGs is Perfect World Online. The Game follows the basic structure of the MMORPG with fighters, rangers, magicians and clerics all fighting together to defeat the seemingly infinite monsters that plague the land. PWO offers a wide range of weapons armour and skills to keep even the hardest RPGers happy. The game is always free to play with like many other MMORPGs an option to purchase Premium Items to enhance the look or abilities of your character.

Game Play:
The game features a pretty common interface with mini-map character info and a skills tab as well as openable windows for inventory character info and various other options. the game is WASD or mouse controlled with a simple click to auto-attack and F1-8 skill assign for quick usage. The first 9 levels are basically tutorial with no death penalty and monsters that deal little more than 5 damage. Once level 9 nine is reached the game begins to take shape. Getting to level 9 will be no problem with the large collection of quests and overflow of monsters through the field. The game features a huge map with many 'safe zones' or towns each with blacksmiths armorers and merchants. If walking between towns becomes too tedious there is a wide range of travel options including mounts and a handy teleportation system accessible through the teleportation master in each town. The game features good social features with party options and quests which require a party in order too keep the game both social and fun. Players choose from three races (Human Elf and Untamed, a beast like race) and a collection of classes including Blade-master, Cleric and Ranger. Each class and race have their own advantaged disadvantages and skills creating an almost infinite selection of characters.

Graphics/Sound:
The games graphics are aimed to be Semi-realistic with wonderful options for character customization. Upon first creating a character the user is faced with one of the most customizable character screens since Elder Scrolls Oblivion. this level of freedom allows players to create a truly unique character to match his or her own personality and preferences. The game features a wide range of enemies each unique in abilities and looks. whilst there are some creatures which have species of similar style in the different level group there is no shortage of monsters throughout the vast fields. The environment is both well formed and well textured creating a diverse and changing map full of vegetation, mountains, rock formations and rivers.

The game's music is simple and yet fits well to the style and theme of the game. With some focus on japanese style architecture and symbols the game features a more traditional sounding soundtrack as opposed to the general epic fighting soundtrack. and if that sort of music is not for you well then turn the BG music volume down and play your own.

Summary:
The best thing by far about this game is that it loads FAST. Even 3 or 4 year old machines should run this game without any problems whatsoever making it a prime choice for those wanting an in depth low req game. Another key point is the cost, its free, and considering that there's really no reason not to at least give it a go.
