The game we've all been waiting for has finally arrived and its come in with a bang. Realeased only today in australia i was lucky to get my hands on a copy. I was expecting a lot from this game and it has certainly delivered. There is so much packed into this game that its enough to keep everyone happy for a very long time.
The multiplayer is great with new characters, items, stages and much much more this will be a party hit im sure, this game has picked up where melee left of and taken things to an entire new level. Offering the classic game types as well as new Special Games and various other multiplayer mini-games Brawl has added so many features that you’re sure to find something new each time you play.
The single player mode has stepped up as well with the Classic game type we're all used to as well as Adventure mode for those who get a bit sick of battle after battle. As well as that there’s Challenge mode, Stadium, Training and lots lots more. The game is full of unlockables including players, trophies, soundtracks, stages and the new stickers.
While some features I’ll admit seem a bit useless to me like the sticker book and the coin shooter I suppose not every aspect is going to appeal but they’re good as a time waster. What’s new about Brawl is the way in which you get your unlockables, some you get for achieving certain goals like surviving a 15 minuet brawl and others like maps and soundtracks you can unlock by picking up items as you play, collect enough and you unlock something new.
Allowing players to fight using any type of controller that plugs into the Wii is great because it allows more people to play one of the few 4 player games without having to go buy 3 new controllers and num-chucks.
The new Final Smash item has its ups and down but is a great item, as long as you’re the one that picks it up, it allows players to use a character specific Finishing Move which destroys pretty much everyone on the field, and if it’s not for you well luckily item select comes standard so simply turn it off.
So overall this game is great I don’t think anyone whose played the other smash brothers games is going to be disappointed and smash brother virgins are in for a good time too.
P.S Feel free to add me and we can battle it out some time: 296500166019
