Fire out break

,

It was on the 15th day of October 2009 when it all happened.
On thah faithfull day at about 1:30am, though i was on my bed but i was experiencing a sleepless night. At a moment, i hard a voice with a loud yail which echoed through the air into every nook and cranny in the street. "Fire.." "Fire.." the voice yailed as it becomes louder and louder. Immediately i jumped out of the bed, made through the door and out side the gate just to discover that the yail was comming from an out-patient clinic down the street. I immediately joined the flow of other residentials whom were rushing down to the scene just to contribute thire own part in the aim to put out lhe raging fire.
Many came along with buckets with which they use to transport water to the scene while others came along with extinguisher cans and cylinders which later served little or no purpose. The younger foes are not left out as they helped out in scooping water from near by wells and trenches while some others helped in transporting the water to the scene.
Despite the "total work force" by the huge number of residentials whom where present at the scene, the fire persisted. At that point, i saw a man ran to the nearest phone boot in an attempt to get accross to the states fire fighting department but to no avail meanwhile, the whole neighborhood were in rampage in a search for solutions.
The fire continued helplessly untill about 4:30am that very day before the arrivaI of the fire fighters. They partly took over the job from the "worn-out local fighters" who heived a sigh of relief at thire arrival though most of them rained words of abuses and curses on the fire fighters as to why they arrived "when the did is already done".
The fire was later put off at about 5:30am that same day "leaving no pin unburnt".
