Ahoy!

Let's see some ID...

Garden Cats and Spandex

Funny how one can always find something to do other than studying! Stupid history. So i decided to take some pictures. Nice subject matter is lacking in my immediate garden but i took a picture of Pearl, the cat and some glorious pink flowers (this pink is like my favourite pink).

AND LOOK AT THIS! I found another garden-cat in the yard... Looks like it's dressed in black spandex.. and... has a beer pouch?!! OMG it's GAVIN!! :yikes:

 busted!

That looks really feckin' great, but GET BACK TO YOUR HISTORY YOUNG LADY! Or I'll cough up a furball in your bear! I mean beer, beer. Not been living in Sweden for too long or anything

My ma has those flowers in her garden too. And a palm tree. In Ireland. I don't understand it either.

HISTORY!! You have an exam!!

:D

ShallowMuse 2. November 2009, 12:12

NOOOOO!!! Not even hairballs in my bear-beer can make me even want to be interested in who did what in the Arts and Crafts Movement!

Gavin Sheedy 2. November 2009, 12:20

Ken and I visited the Bauhaus arkiv in Berlin. They had, of course, just moved all but two exhibits to a museum, so there was a cleverly edited video of Jackie Chan doing his stuff, a wire organiser and a shop. Just as well it only took us an hour and a half to find.

Art history is fascinating. Don't get me started on Giotto!

ShallowMuse 2. November 2009, 12:38

Its fascinating until you have to memorise 25 points on each person! Its so unneccesary! (and i'd rather watch Jackie Chan than learn about bauhaus and thats saying something!)

Gavin Sheedy 2. November 2009, 12:44

:frown: Learning by rote SUCKS!!!! And accomplishes nothing.

Bauhaus is pretty cool, though.

Lu 2. November 2009, 12:56

AAAAAAAAHAHAH! Genius!!

Arr i feel like something in my life is complete now that i've seen a Bianca-illustration of Gavin in a spandex catsuit with beer pouch and tail.

Although that pink is evil :insane:. I had to squint.

P.S. That is a YARD?! :eyes:

ShallowMuse 2. November 2009, 13:12

 ! Yep it's my yard.. pretty huge i know. Am planning to build a whole colony in the back some day. AHA a Blogger Colony! Only Gavin isnt allowed out in public in his cat-suit.

Gavin Sheedy 2. November 2009, 13:15

 no, that's only for the beer room! p:

ShallowMuse 2. November 2009, 13:18

Why'd you need a room for beer when you have that awesome nifty little pouch?!

Gavin Sheedy 2. November 2009, 13:52

 I was remembering you mentioning your beer room (when your brother had people over who'd helped themselves to your beer :D ).

I great uncles did have a room filmed with beer; they used to have all of their neighbours over and play music. Nice!

Hermitess 2. November 2009, 14:21

OMG I about choked when I got to Gavin in a cat suit! LMAO *breathe* *breathe* Now I want to make it my wallpaper but that would be just too much explaining to Hermit. naaa.... it's going on Gert! I need the laugh! :D

My you have a large yard there young lady! And why is it so green? What season is it there? I get all out of sorts trying to figure these things out. Here it's fall but geez, like I know if it's spring or what there. Lovely yard though! Plenty of room for a blogger colony.

Gavin Sheedy 2. November 2009, 14:34

ShallowMuse 2. November 2009, 15:04

It's fantabulous summer here, Lindsay.. So nice and green! Yea and theres still a swimming pool and more garden round the other side.. Thank goodness for the garden service!
And i think Cat suit Gavin is going to be a cultish figure from now on! :eyes:

Hermitess 2. November 2009, 15:16

Hermitess 2. November 2009, 15:30

Lu 2. November 2009, 15:52

Heeey i had dibs on the rat first! He's mine!

:sst: rats prefer biscuits...dont tell Gavin, he'll try and lure my rat away with a HobNob

ShallowMuse 2. November 2009, 15:59

Hermitess 2. November 2009, 17:22

Homer: Doh! and after all that educational videos they made me watch as a child. Tom & Jerry are liars! LIARS! Jerry always liked cheese.

Cσησя Mμяρнỵ 2. November 2009, 17:26

Gavin Sheedy 2. November 2009, 17:29

Lu 2. November 2009, 17:39

Hermitess 2. November 2009, 18:29

I know! But there weren't any cartoons about rats. this was my closest frame of reference.

Gavin Sheedy 2. November 2009, 19:17

Ratatoui and Flushed Away are the only two I can think of... discrimination!!!

Lu 2. November 2009, 19:51

Did they have Roland Rat in Ireland?

My rat hero!

Cσησя Mμяρнỵ 2. November 2009, 20:20

He definitely looks familiar... we had NTL, so we only got rubbish channels

Lu 2. November 2009, 22:23

You probably won't know him, as you were just a twinkle in your daddys eye when Roland was king!

Cσησя Mμяρнỵ 2. November 2009, 22:26

I'm pretty sure I recognize him... we watched very old cartoons :D

ShallowMuse 3. November 2009, 07:19

Gavin Sheedy 3. November 2009, 08:04

He's from before your time, Conor. Actually, I'm surprised that Lucy remembers him.
