Injured Pigeon

I found this injured pigeon on the pavement. Was probably hurt by a Diwali firecracker. It wasn't able to fly,
all it could do was scamper under cars for cover.

I felt bad that I could not do anything to help it.

It might be festive for us humans, but its a downright nightmare season for these poor critters. :frown:

Oh, poor thing. We have a lot of fireworks in England at this night of year because of Guy Fawkes Night, and I always fear for the wildlife. A lot of pets hate them too - my dog was terrified of them :frown:
