Operamatic Production

Hi every1,
I am starting out on another friday,hopeful that today's out-patient crowd will be just enough to call it, a comfortable day.Meanwhile, I ve got to catch up on some medical updates now.

Too many new cases today I think.I managed my time well.
I was thinking that may be I should have a directory where I note down the response of various newer drugs so that one can know whether in the real world these medications give the benefits that studies claim. I need to stay focussed on this lest I drop the idea & put it off for later.

I am relaxing today...aah! it feels good to be lazy after 6 days of hectic work.I still havent managed to feed in all the details of the patients of last week into the electronic medical record but atleast I have entered the page link from my diary.Why am I talking about Work!!
I can feel the Sunday passing through me,the sun nearly completing its trajectory in the west.I plan to catch a movie on Zee Studio tonight.Oh! and I must stuff my clothes into the washing machine when I get back home.Will get going now.Till next blog my friends..alvidha

I am late. Yesterday I spent the evening deciding what to present & this evening is the only time I have to cook up my powerpoints...must go now.ciao people

Today my sitting at the comp to write my blog on day2 means that against all odds Opera has been able to entice me to visit & blog again.I dont know how many blog-sites I have left orphaned because I lost interest.Good!Congratulations to the team behind Opera.
Today I had a long 1 hour chat with a medical rep about the issues we face in tackling patients & their families,compliance with treatment, stigma etc.I wonder whether I get over-enthu when discussing my profession--Psychiatry.
Today MM 's parents came for medications.He had stopped them after the discussion we all had about the risk of recurrence & what he should do, if this happened.The relapse has occured now but the insight is absent & he chooses to deny his illness & live in his paranoid world. I hope our rapport will be able to get him back from the "insane world".
D's parents are happy to see that she is more interactive & smiling again after so many years...thanks to the atypical antipsychotics.
Da..'s status is the same...despite adequate dose of L-sulpiride he is not better. Plan to meet his spouse & manage to rope him in for a brief admission & psychodiagnostics.
Oh! I have the presentation to work on..
