Squirrels are really cute, i once gave a few warm chips to a squirrel and he ate it. Red squirrels are really nice too.

Squirrels are good fun and make parks much more interesting!

I'll be going to the park come summer, i'l be looking out for them. Is it snowing where you are?

Adele 4. February 2009, 07:31

Yeah, we had some of the heaviest snow in southern England here. Some 30cm fell in some areas, and there's still lots on the ground.

roxy 4. February 2009, 22:26

You guys really had it bad down there, we have just had some snow but nothing really major, i hate this freezing weather. Sky News said this is the worst weather in 18 years!

Adele 4. February 2009, 22:29

Well, bad weather is in the eye of the beholder  It's been very beautiful, and I've had a great time photographing all the snowy landscape (I've got some pictures on my latest blog post). I spend a lot of my time in Canada, and this doesn't feel so severe to me. But of course, we're not really prepared for it at all. In Canada, the buses keep running even when it's -35 C outside.

But I'd certainly agree that this is the heaviest snow in the North Downs for a couple of decades.

roxy 4. February 2009, 22:34

Do you have family in Canada? i look forward to looking at your new post.

Adele 4. February 2009, 22:38

No family, but I do have friends there. I go mainly to travel in the wilderness and look for wolves.

Cheers  My snow posts are here and here.

roxy 5. February 2009, 17:04

You have alot of courage to do that, do you go into the wilderness with friends?

Adele 5. February 2009, 20:17

Sometimes, and other times I go dayhiking out there alone but I do take precautions. It's a very beautiful country though.
