Very busy in the garden today. I watched a blackbird feeding his fledglings and teaching them how to find their own food on my path.

Spent a little time at my easel, going indoors and out at intervals, so not getting too many rays for my own good. It works really well for me because my art and my gardening both get more or less equal attention. I enjoy both immensly.

I also like to sit out in the garden in the evenings and firing up the old chimena, feeding it with flame roaring out of the chimney. (I guess it has something to do with man and fire ). One can boil water, bake potatoes, enjoy the peace of the evening, and quietly watch for wildlife, etc.
