Nine Words That Women Use.

:D hi

NINE WORDS WOMEN USE

(1)

Fine:

This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

(2)

Five Minutes:

If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.

(3)

Nothing:

This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in fine.

(4)

Go Ahead:

This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It!

(5)

Loud Sigh:

This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men.. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer back to # 3 for the meaning of nothing.)

(6)

That's Okay:

This is one of the most dangerous statements a women can make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.

(7)

Thanks:

A woman is thanking you, do not question, or faint. Just say you're welcome. (I want to add in a clause here - This is true, unless she says 'Thanks a lot' - that is PURE sarcasm and she is not thanking you at all. DO NOT say 'you're welcome' . that will bring on a 'whatever').

(8)

Whatever:

Is a woman's way of saying F--- YOU!

(9)

Don't worry about it, I'll do it:

Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself.. This will later result in a man asking 'What's wrong?'

For the woman's response refer to # 3.

May I bow to your hard earned sagacity in regards to relationships with women.

:alien: Earthling! You must come to my planet! We are in
desperate need of your wisdom. Our females are on a
rampage!

Tyler Parke Young 28. October 2009, 20:50

Don't go. Might be a trap!

Skip Ennis 28. October 2009, 21:01

I am not going anywhere. (My woman won't let me go.).

Tyler Parke Young 28. October 2009, 21:04

Did I mention that I have located my Father? Gotta hand it to the internet. I kept looking and I finally found him. We talked for 33 minutes last night. Today I sent him a two page letter with the short version of my last 18 years.

Skip Ennis 28. October 2009, 21:07

Wow. Brilliant. Does he live very far away?

Tyler Parke Young 28. October 2009, 21:16

Yes he does, dang it. Torrance California. Down by Rodondo Beach, just south of Los Angeles. A long way from here. He is just as far away to the west as you are to the east.

Shaunak De 29. October 2009, 09:26

Funny, but true. :D

Skip Ennis 29. October 2009, 09:31

Well Tyler, at least you are in contact by the internet and that is, at least, something. :D

Hi Shaunak. Glad you enjoyed the post.

Tyler Parke Young 29. October 2009, 13:28

His health isn't great. I guess I will have to go out there and see him. No, I will have to go out there to see him. Soon. So much for plans.

Skip Ennis 29. October 2009, 13:38

I am saddened to hear that your Dad's health is not good and, of course, you must try to see him. You may have to put all else on the 'back burner' for the time being. It will all still be there when you get back.

Tyler Parke Young 29. October 2009, 14:18

He is almost 80. I am just going to just have to accept that nothing I plan is going to work out the way that I think.

Skip Ennis 29. October 2009, 19:19

That's for sure. They always say that any plan is trashed after the first step.

Tyler Parke Young 29. October 2009, 19:56

You'd have thought the Germans would have realized that after WW I! :coffee:

PainterWoman 29. October 2009, 22:48

Hmmmmmm......I do believe I've used all these words. p:

Skip Ennis 30. October 2009, 13:08

Hmmmm...I do believe you (must) have.

Tyler Parke Young 30. October 2009, 15:15

Danger! Another day in the neighborhood. :coffee:

Skip Ennis 30. October 2009, 15:54

Well PainterWoman stuck a tongue out at me first. :D

Tyler Parke Young 30. October 2009, 15:57

Yes, but your having been married for so long kind of makes you an expert on living with women without getting killed. :coffee:

Tyler Parke Young 30. October 2009, 15:59

I hate tech problems. Just tried to sign in on Skype and was not "recognized". I am on the vista machine down in the living room.

PainterWoman 30. October 2009, 16:02

 Only thing is I never say I'll be ready in 5 min. I've said give me an hour's notice. My ex would be ready in 15 then pace around while the kids and I got ready. He'd get madder by the minute which I could never figure out. We were never late anywhere we went, in fact, we were always early much to the chagrin of whoever was hosting.

Plus, we had three Tv's so he watched whatever he wanted for as long as he wanted.

Skip Ennis 30. October 2009, 16:06

Brilliant! And well done. As we have to live together there can only be give and receive. :D

Tyler Parke Young 30. October 2009, 16:06

From what you have related to me about your ex, I am surprized that he is still in one piece.

PainterWoman 30. October 2009, 17:01

Not exactly in one piece. He is a high stress individual with high blood pressure and a bad heart controlled with much medication. He had two heart attacks and two surgeries five years ago and this was long after I was gone. It matters not that he lives alone and does whatever he wants. People create their own stress.

Tyler Parke Young 30. October 2009, 17:34

Well, you don't have to die to go to hell. You can make your own right here. And it sounds like he has.

PainterWoman 30. October 2009, 17:51

Actually, I think he's quite happy living alone in that big house. It's just exactly the way he wants it with no one to mess it up. He couldn't deal with my artist clutter and kid's toys. He only uses one third of it and the rest is void of any human use except for the cleaning lady who does dusting once a month.

Tyler Parke Young 30. October 2009, 18:03

A King "Miser". I think my uncle is turning in to one of those.

Skip Ennis 30. October 2009, 18:20

It sounds like he is turning into a male 'Miss Faversham' (Great expectations).

Tyler Parke Young 30. October 2009, 18:22

Ancient wedding cake and all.

Tyler Parke Young 30. October 2009, 18:23

Have you had your supper then?

Skip Ennis 30. October 2009, 19:06

Yep, just finished. Chicken Jalfrezi, with pilua rice, onion bhaji and nan bread. I am busting now.

Tyler Parke Young 30. October 2009, 20:08

I just got back from the bank. I put in the cheque from my mother's estate and rented a safe deposit box for my important documents. As it turns out, I have a few!

Skip Ennis 31. October 2009, 19:39

Good to hear that, Tyler. Onwards and upwards, eh?

I got my things done in the city and I did not get too wet. :D

Tyler Parke Young 31. October 2009, 19:44

I am down on the Vista machine so the skype won't work. I am signed in upstairs, is the reason why. I would have to create an account under a "nom de Plume". I am too lazy.

Skip Ennis 31. October 2009, 20:20

You are here. That is the main thing. How has your day been?

:D

Tyler Parke Young 31. October 2009, 20:23

Day is ok. I hauled some coal to Newcastle this afternoon.

Skip Ennis 31. October 2009, 20:28

That is an old saying. :D

Tyler Parke Young 31. October 2009, 21:22

Uh huh. Going to a Halloween party tonight. There will be a bonfire. I am taking a cab.

Skip Ennis 31. October 2009, 21:43

Have a great All Hallows Eve, my friend. :wizard: :D

Tyler Parke Young 31. October 2009, 22:56

I am about ready to go. I don't want to be early but I don't want to be late either. :raider:

Skip Ennis 1. November 2009, 15:24

 :D

Tyler Parke Young 1. November 2009, 16:10

I left early.

Skip Ennis 1. November 2009, 16:41

It is better to leave politely early than to arrive impolitely late. :spock: :left:

Tyler Parke Young 1. November 2009, 16:56

Well, most of them were a lot young than me anyway. One beer and poop I was done in. Went home and watched "Sat. Nite Live. Lady GA GA was the performer. She is just so goofy, and yet, there was talent hidden under there.

Tyler Parke Young 1. November 2009, 16:57

My cousin left his laundry in the washer so I put it in the drier for him but when my clothes are ready to go in, his are coming out. Because I am ruthless.

Skip Ennis 1. November 2009, 16:58

Yes, I think she is a change from what is about these days. She is quite shrewd from what I have heard.

Tyler Parke Young 1. November 2009, 16:59

Who? Ruth? She is my aunt you know.

Skip Ennis 1. November 2009, 17:55

And how is Aunt Ruthie? :D

Tyler Parke Young 1. November 2009, 18:45

Alas, she is no longer with us. I truly am "ruthless". She died during a card game at the age of 96. :coffee:

Skip Ennis 1. November 2009, 19:49

Wow! Just like Doc Halliday, eh? :D

Tyler Parke Young 2. November 2009, 12:57

I figure that it was either a really good hand or a really bad one.
