Planning for a Sustainable Future.

, ,

bigsmile hi

All that I have been reading lately is how bad our situation is getting. We know how bad things are getting but let's get it together for our sustainable future.
One does not need exotic foods from all around the world (carbon footprint?). We have to grow food enough to give us a basic healthy diet. Grow your own and/or buy local produce (eggs from a neighboring chicken keeper, vegetables from a local market gardener, bread from a local bakery, etc.). If one waits in the current political/financial climate one is going to end up with nothing when it all collapses under it's own stupidity and greed. We have to act for each other now. Talking and acting to these ends are the only way we are going to survive the future.

Artwise, I am drawing designs for new artworks. The ideas have just rushed in, as if my mind has become impatient to get them done.

Big love to all.

I do agree with you on everything you said about the world's present bad situation. I have been trying to eat only from my garden but I can't produce meat. Once or twice per week (100 g) is enough for me the rest is devoted to eggs, mushrooms, organic steaks, chicken, light mozzarella or Feta.
Artwise am doing cuttings as you know. Kind of art in my mind. smile

Hi Crysta. I hope you and yours had a good weekend. We went Christmas shopping in the city yesterday, getting each other practical gifts. We had a good time but it sure took it out of me. But we got home alright and stuffed ourselves with food. Ha! Ha!. bigsmile up

I understand what you mean Skip. I have that experience on Tuesdays when I go a few blocks for Luncheon Group!
