A Warrior knows that the worst thing to do is to confront people bluntly; a Warrior proceeds strategically.
He needs to use his power, he needs to be a shaman; that is why Warriors are spirit travellers, they have the power.

A Warrior can be a man of knowledge because he is an impeccable hunter who hunts power. When he succeeds in his hunting he is a man of knowledge.

The nature of a Diné Warrior’s act is unimportant here as long as he acts as a Warrior. To seek the perfection of the Warrior’s spirit is the only task worthy of our manhood.

If a spirit is distorted; a Warrior fixes it, purges it and makes it perfect, - because there is no task in our entire lives which is more worthwhile. Not to fix the spirit is to seek death and that is the same as to seek nothing. A Diné Warrior fixes the spirit to give it power.

A Warrior makes his own mood and can spur himself beyond limits if in the proper mood. Many things are used to get in the mood. It is convenient to always act in the Warrior mood; because it cuts through the crap and leaves him purified.

A Diné Warrior has both control and abandon. He is a hunter and he calculates everything. That is control. But once his calculations are over, he acts. That is abandon.

A Diné Warrior is not a leaf at the mercy of the winds. No one can push him, to make him do things against himself or his better judgement.
A Warrior is tuned to survive and he survives in the best possible fashion. The hunter of power watches everything and everything tells him some secret. A Warrior is guided by his unbending purpose and can fend off anything.

In order to use his power a Warrior must live with power. A Warrior gives everything for great power battles. There are worlds within worlds right here in front of us. They are as real as the one we are in right now. They can not be ignored. If one does not have the power, death is always waiting.
To seek nothing is the same as seeking death. So to venture into an unknown future without power is stupid; one will only find death.
