What do you want to leave your children?

,

A dying planet with air so thick with pollution that they struggle to breath through Asthma choked breath. A legacy of poisons used so carelessly that ever increasing people suffer from cancers. A vast nuclear wasteland. A violent society where they are not free to walk or sleep without fear. Politics and business in which children and the environment are the casualties. A legacy of blood for oil? This list could go on and the suffering of the Earth, its people and creatures seems endless.

Insanity. The Ten Commandments (As was taught to me).

A life worth living, on a planet worth living on, within a framework that provides for balance in all aspects of all life and the environment in which it can flourish. To accomplish this will require the reexamination of all behaviors and paradigms by one race, the human race, without prejudice by; namely, for example: business, politics, religions, racism, most of the "isms", all other constraints and distractions to the goals.

Hi,Kent! Hi,Skip! Glad to see both of you caring for Mother Earth. As long as man is selfish and thinks in terms of money I am afraid things will go on dramatically. But nature is a good girl, always ready to erase man's abominations. smile

It is unfortunate how disrespectful Mother Earth's children have become, particularly by those who acquired an attitude of greed, egotism and selfishness, characteristic of the 1980s. A return to the behavior exhibited by, for example, the indigenous peoples of North America, their Mongolian ancestors, and among others elsewhere on the planet appears necessary; that is, take no more than absolutely necessary and use all that you take, replacing what is taken when possible. The latter as preference, instead of the rape of resources whilst abusing the Mother of us all. As you point out Jean,

Maybe you should have had Captain Crunch cereal or a Nestlé Crunch - Candy Bar to ward off the munchies, which could make you feel crunchy. coffee
