hello opera peeps

this has been my 1st blog for a while so i will start by sayin i hope you all had a great xmas and new year

the last time i wrote anything was just after my nephews were born and here we are nearly a year later.

this xmas was a cracker for us TedKs. Xmas day was spent in the company of MidTedK,his good lady MumTedK and of course the newest generation of teds........the MicroTeds !!

Then to round of a good festive time Biggy,Mrs Biggy and MiniT & HugeTed and Mrs HugeT were here for the new year celebrations.

After what has been a tough couple of years for us it was great to see the smile on MumTeds face as she had all her family (gettin bigger all the time) all home over the festive !!

Well folks once again i hope you and yours had a great festive

1. My name is David

2. My birthday is 22/04/1974 makin me 32

3. I was born in Inverness,Scotland

4. Its in the Highlands of Scotland

5. Inverness is a grt wee place to live

6. The Highlands is a beautiful part of Scotland

7. Inverness is also a very historically important place

8. As its close to Culloden Battlefield

9. Culloden is the site of the last land battle fought on british soil

10. That was on 16th April 1746 (a wee while ago now )

11. There are 5 direct members of my family

12. The big cheese is my mum

13. Who i am very proud to have as my mum an love her very much!!

14. Shes the most PC clued up granny i know!!

15. I also have 3 older bros, I love them all very much

16. They are MidTedK,BigTedK an HugeTedK (i think me an huge are very alike except in height )

17. When he played MidTedK was the best lead guitar player i had heard (he was awesome to watch)

18. Biggy is a mean rhythm an bass guitar player (i was in a band with him an MidTedK )

19. Though Huge is the daddy when it comes to Bass Guitar (i guess you get good after 25 yrs or so)

20. I play the drums and can also do the decks (DJin)

21. Im a far better drummer than a DJ

22. I constantly tap an drum on things daily

23. Tho i dont play the drums enough

24. I played in 2 bands before(1 band had the coolest name )

25. The names were Buzz and Water We Gonna Call The Band (cool as fuck eh!!)

26. I would love to do a reunion with both one day (tho i dont think itll happen)

27. Between the four of us we would make a fuckin awesome band (my bros are very talented musos)

28. Maybe one day we will get to jam together (id love it so much )

29. Till then ill just keep on drummin

30. If i was to have a musical hero it would be Neil Peart (the man is fuckin amazin)

31. I have 3 grt sisters in law (Mrs MTK,Mrs BTK an Mrs HTK )

32. I love them all very much as they make my bros very happy (most of the time)

33. They all deserve a medal for puttin up wi my bros

34. I have a niece who lives in holland (WeeTedK)i absolutely adore her

35. Im so proud to be her uncle as shes a wee darling an i love her to bits

36. Im gonna b an uncle again in January/February

37. Its so cool bein an uncle ,ive been told i do a grt job

38. I love goin to visit my niece as Den Haag is a beautiful city

39. And im always made sooooooooo welcome by the biggy clan (ty guys)

40. I also love goin to Aberdeen to see HTK an Mrs HTK (its a cool as fuck city just check Huges blog page)

41. Im a mad sports fan

42. My main sports are Football,rugby,motor racing

43. My fav team is Glasgow Celtic (Cmon The Hoops)

44. I also like AC Milan (Forza Rossonero)

45. I like Tea,Beer and more tea and beer (anyone who knows me knows i LOVE freezer cold beer)

46. Im sinkin a coldee as i write this drivel

47. I used to smoke alot of pot/weed

48. Tho i now save that for my trips to holland

49. Ive also tried many other drugs in my years of DJing

50. Tho im gettin too old for alot of partying now(just every now an again )

51. Im a very proud Scot!!!

52. Im also the only highlander in my family (another fact im very proud of !!)

53. Everyone should visit Scotland its beautiful an the folk always make you welcome

54. I listen to music all the time

55. Rush are my fav band ever !! (me an huge saw them in 2004 fuckin magic)

56. Im a very sarcastic person (a family trait,just ask biggy or huge )

57. Tho i can be very introverted

58. I also love dance music (its a mad atmos at a rave and grt fun to DJ at them)

59. Ive made many grt friends in my yrs of playin music

60. I lost one of my best party friends this year(R.I.P jon i miss you loads)

61. Ive had the same best friend since i was 11

62. Him an his good lady helped me through alot of hard times recently,for which i will always be very grateful

61. I dont know how his wife puts up with us when we are together (she deserves a medal too)

62. I love to watch movies, horror a a good comedy always go well

63. I also love reading,mainly history as its amazin to see how our lives are shaped by the past

64. I only listen to 2 radio stations,Radio scotland for the football and of course KBOZ !!

65. I like to surf the net alot an spk to some really cool folk (boz,vin,missa and a few more)

66. It also helps keep me in touch with the Biggy clan in the nederlands,and the Huge clan in aberdeen

67. I have made alot of good friends in Den Haag and Aberdeen!!

68. Im not a grt traveller

69. Tho i want to visit Italy, and LOVE holland

70. Im lookin foward to Xmas this year

71. Because i get 2 weeks holiday,see my bro at new year and coz last years xmas was awful

72. Im also lookin forward to New Year,its a big deal in Scotland

73. I never want to be anywhere but Scotland for new year

74. I cant wait for New Year 2007/8

75. Because there will b alot of family about that year(the Biggys are comin home,MidTedK an Mrs MTK will have 2 babies an hopefully the HTKs will b here too )

76. When the babies are born it will be 2 more tattoos for me

77. They bloody hurt but are soo worth the pain

79. It will be a tribute to someone i havent mentioned yet

80. That person is my DAD !!!

81 .My dad passed away on 24th nov 2005

83. I miss him so much everyday !!

84. He was the greatest man i ever knew

86. How much i loved him and how proud i was to have him as my dad

87. He was also the cleverest person i knew

88. Like us he was a HUGE celtic fan!! (now you know where i get it from)

89. Also a grt lover of italy !!

90. He loved being Papa !!

91. He had a mad sense of humor

92. And a grt taste in music !!

93. He also just loved peace an quiet

94. We must have driven him mad at times (sorry pops )

95. Him and mum were the best parents i could wish for

96. Im sure MTK,BTK an HTK will tell you the same

97. Ive never known anyone read like he did

98. I believe hes keepin an eye on us always (and his grandkids too)

Well folks im back (wayhey i hear you all say)

Just a wee blog to say what a fuckin SOOOOOOOPERB time i had on my holz recently. I was met (as usual) at schipol by my bro,mrs j an waka jr and in customary holiday stylee sat down an had a couple of pints !!

Then it was off to Den Haag (A Beautiful City) for 10 days of rest an relaxation....Or as it turned out to be partyin ma socks off. It was grt to see the waka clan ( i must say thanks once again ) what a difference in wee waka since i last saw her.

One highlight of my trip (there were a few) was goin to see Celtic Vs Rangers in Ned Kellys in the town. The first time me an my bro have watched an Old Firm game in about 15 yrs or so.............

What a great day it was, we won 2-0 an me an waka got royally trousered!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a fuckin toppin time on me holz and tho it was great bein away , seein the family and gettin to see holland again (i love it there)..

It was great to come home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I must once again say a HUGE thank you to the waka clan for makin me sooooooooo welcome as it was great fun an its always nice to go somewhere different

Just recently my mum (motherj aka mumtedk) had joined the blogging community an she rather enjoys sharin her thoughts with other folk an has posted a couple of good blogs (she is quite wise really)

Also in the last few days my big bro HugeTedK has also graced us with his presence, add to that
BigTedK (Waka) and my self SmallTedK you have a gathering of TedKs.

All we are missing now is MidTedK (tho he is very busy doing up his new hoose and gettin ready for parenthood),on the parenthood aspect i wish them both the best of luck tho i think they will be grt parents (and i will be an uncle again which means two more tattoos OUCH!!!!).

If Fatherted had lived to see this im sure he would have loved doin this as he was a very deep thinking an seriously bloody clever kinda dude!!.

So all who read this blurb of drivel may be thinkin (or maybe not) that ......................

AAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH........ The TedKs are takin over.
