Solidarity Odin Linkshell

So Tue's is officialy Solidarity Static day with Odette Hittywitty and myself going from 1-75 on BRD PLD and "Superstar!!!"



I did not choose to level Dancer I would have done Corsair or possibly Blu or Puppetmaster even Scholar but I was told this was the job I was going as and decided what the hell why not.
This did require me to get the job caught up to both Hitty and Odettes PLD and BRD respectivly. Not that it took any effort at all.







Thankfully Hittys PLD was not that high and we jumped right into the super funtastic dunes!!!




We also did some Duo/trio work once we caught up to Odette's BRD.







Then onto Quifim!!








We are actualy almost out of Jungles and are all lv 30.But I did not have time to send those pics yet so have to wait on those till next time.

In other news the only other thing I've been upto in game BST is now almost 33 just 1.5k shy.




Slow but not dead... The turtle marches on!

So with more free time I have actualy been seen on game. And I have managed to actualy do a few minor things nothing major but that wont stop me from posting about it.

First things first.
Monk



This was the pics for ding 74 the party was two dancer's another monk a paladin and a samarai I tried to ignore the fact that there are people that managed to get a new job to the same lv it has taken me 3-4 yrs to get.Sidenote congrats to Wagwei on 48.



Now I would have a pic for Ding 75 only there is no PIC since I hit 75 after doing Campaign Battle followed by a Campaign OP.
But I do have some pics of those.Since Odette has been nice enough to follow my monk around and keep me alive.




I could not wait to get rid of those damn slops and wear my Haidate again.
After dinging 75.The next day I did a short merit party with Mirra's BRD to get buffer and a merit.




Now before this and less to do with Monk I explored WOTG areas with odette not only to have City warp to each zone but just to get a feel for where everything is and whats what.

The first time we faught one of these it was a pushover.The 2nd as seen here in Fort whatchamacallit.

We learned of its moves. It seems not only do they spray you with some gunk that pisses off any surrounding bug mobs but that they also when low on HP devore the bugs ala a venus fly trap.
Needless to say I ended up having to zone but was a fun little thing to learn.

Not 100% if its just Dragonfly and bee's that they can enrage/eat but im not in a hurry to find it out either.


Also we found Witchfireglen home of all the fairy/sprites. Nice little spot and close to a VT-IT wyvern experience point camp mind you I was 74 still at the time.




So while I had faced these in campaign I had not tried one outside of it till here. Nothing realy special but I could have just got lucky.In campaign I know the BST quad can summon at least 2 and they do Break-GA.

Promies.

So Mirra is/has an event/endgame Linkshell and was on a goal to help people get Sea. Asked in Solidarity if anyone wanted to help and while I was waiting on a lv 8 Besieged of trolls to hit I said meh and went along anyway. I needed the key items for Apocalyps Nigh anyway. So off I went on my SMN.



Easy win and although Im rusty on SMN having been away from it for so long its not like there is a huge complicated process to Promies.Mirra had a great idea to cut down time waiting between each run with Corsair reseting my two hour.


So Off we went to the next.



Again with a win sadly after this I needed to log due to RL I felt bad as it made it look like I was ditching after getting the key items I needed. I had Holla already.But mirra knew I wanted to stay and they went on to win anyway so congrats to all on Tanzy access.



So after I log in the next day I mount up IrisPendragon who I have neglected racing for awhile and went to go remedy that.Until Aable ask me to come do Nyzul.



So at the start we all comment what we want since we are doing floors 16-20. Im on SMN and bieng lazy say SMN item not actualy needing or wanting.Not that they would not be nice to have.






So here comes the Ahh shit moment we have seconds left and kill fafnir and low and behold Golliard boots drop.Everyone passes I go to lot and get inventory full message............

I go to drop anything quick I drop a water crystal go to click on cast lot and we are booted from the area.... Now They are not OMG awesome piece for SMN and woul drealy only be great for +HMP gear but still I felt like a noob and regret the obvious mistake on my part.On the plus side I had alot of fun and I guess thats all that realy matters.

Now since I was close to another merit off I went on SMN to defend the past?




And I guess thats that for now in a nutshell

So I have been busy RL > game. But now I have had a few minutes here and there to explore the new WOTG just a bit.






So it begins with the MAW.



Ok so I could say random jokes on reskins but Meh love the trick to getting the new bombs to explode wich will be fun for when my BST is high enough. And always fun for SMN if I can find higher tier version of them.


First stop eldhiem Necropolis only I hit the wrong entrance....




So more walking around Battilia.


After finding the entrance I made some friends it seems the little flower mandys like to follow toons like the goldfish/dolphins in sea.

On route to Sandoria have to get my sprint shoes!!





Lots of random stuff grabbing other maws since they work like assult points one way first time. Got Dancer and Scholar both unlocked lv 1 still and doing alot of sightseeing just dont have alot of time to sit down and play for large enough amounts of time to get much done as soon as I do i'll be sure to update with more.

Dont ask about the title it has something to do with baby clothe's and popped up when I hit tab on the title bar seemed like as good a title for one of my post as any other.



So what have I done in game Hmmm lets see.

Tried to solo the last 1k I needed to get to 21 on Gigas Bat's pet.




MNK 72 Ding





Then I went back and changed to /nin because 1 RDM and 1 BLU/nin are not enough to keep me alive. When I am /warrior
At least in mire with Fly's Cursed spehere and other AOE's. They did try and no one even asked me to change subjob's this was one of those times I said to myself if I want better EXP im going to have to suck it up and go /nin. Later after one of the three Warrior/nin's left we replaced with a SMN at this point I wish I had gone back and changed to /war but oh well Garuda made up for any dip in the DD.





After I dinged into 72(MNK) I made it a goal to go get Destroyer's the endgame Hand to Hand weapon for Monk. for some odd reason I thought they were LV 72 only after getting them did I realize they are 73. Not that it matter's I prefer the look of Retaliator's anyway. On with the show.





Hurray for a quadov train in noob zones!Met some people as we zoned in that needed "Pal. Mines key" so we decided to help a bit got only one when they needed two sadly I had to log for real life family stuff after KS30 hope they got it.

So in this KS fight one member gets charmed every 30 seconds or so in order of how you were invited to party starting with Orb trader. This can lead to alot of shall we say Hijinks.



Todays group since we have done this in the past was Wraice (Whm) Arcia (Brd)Darklancer (Nin)
Stabmegently (War) Myself (War) And Hittywitty (Rdm).

First run we made the mistake of putting all the mages back to back with invites.
I blame myself for this as I forgot about how the charm order went.




Smooth sailing from then on though with a little regroup/reinvite session. Pic below is Darklancer crtical hit on me he got 9/10 hits on me to crit..... I'll make no comment on that...






But that was far from the biggest reality check or Epeen check of the night.
After a death to the NM's Mighty strike's + charmed DL. I was lucky enough to get a raise in the last 10% health of the mob.

I run up to get a revenge hit and get charmed before I can do anything. I take a bit of joy in hitting Darklancer with my great axe as he helped to best me before so as I type "Here I come to get you"!! &
"Revenge" I notice with my raise sickness I have less that 130 HP....Darklancer noticed this also so....



In reality it was the perfect hit and I would have done it myself I take the death in stride and laugh about it knowing that revenge is a dish best served cold (-.-)_|_

Good times as always and Thank you to everyone since I now have my Destroyer's.

So, BST and RDM are both 75 now. Unfortunately, I never get to play Bst. Lots of stuff's been happening the last couple weeks, and I missed SS'ing quite alot of it. Hopefully others can post pics of some of our crazy LSMERITPO's and our successful Diorite farming mission.

Arkley and some random nab were engaged in G2 excitement. My pocket-tank and I decided to have fun. These mobs have been ridiculously nerfed, LOL2000+RAMPAGE.

After RDM75 I've been on a crazy merit kick. Right now Convert is 5/5, Enfeeb 1, Axe 1, Beast Affinity 2/3. MOAR every day.
This is a crazy blm spam party I joined as RDM/BRD. Was col we had Mount Z slimes to ourselves for about 2 hours. Easy as shit chain25+. I kinda liked it better as it was stressful as any burn, but there was always a 3 min break every 25 mins or so for resting. CIGARETTE CAN I HAVE IT? RYSKAR PLEASE STOP PULLING FUUUUUUCK.


This was a sexy JP party I joined in Whitegate. When I discovered we were going to Lufaise I creamed my pants. I >MISS< these old xp spots so much. All the ToA areas are dark and grimy and shit. Give this taru clear skies and high def mobs, lol.

Sunday, 9/9 was like the most productive FFXI day of my life. I picked up 3 merits, beat Ouryu, beat Windy 8-2/9-1, got almost all the pre-reqs for 9-2 done, raised an entire party of lvl 9 nabs, beat Shiva and Garuda, oh and logged off at Argus, lol.
Here's Xxbahamut and myself getting ready for Shiva. The smn that wanted Fenrir was nab so after Xx and I saw each other in party we were like "OH FUCK YES LET'S DUO THIS SHIT WITH OUR LITTLE BLUE FRIENDS!"
