My OperaWriter's block

The irony of this blog is obviously the fact that i am attempting to write about my writers block. To me its kinda a silly thing really because you end up doing a large amount of research, or reading on a particular topic [often nights on end] then you sit in front of your pc an start typing, somewhere along the line however you get stuck and your head is just empty and you don't really know what to write next. Bloody frustrating if you ask me. Wonder if people like, shakespeare also had the same problem... lol i can picture shakespeare thinking to himself "to be or not to be" at this point. but hey the guy perservered and is considered as a genius, maybe i should just persevere to hey...and end up being one day considered a genius too!!! well maybe thats pushing it a little bit...i'd be happy just to pass the end of the year. I appologise if i had wasted your time in reading this blog...but in my defence i am suffering with writer's blog at the moment...

Which is probably the best kind of genius.
Writing about writers block is tricking your mind into pushing past the block by "setting it aside" for a while, which is exactly what you do to defeat the block. I say genius.
To make it to pure genius though you have to forget about what people will one day consider you. Or at least as much as is humanly possible. That is part of WHY we blog to begin with. To be considered.
