Well, can't avoid that, now can I? 
Today (or yesterday, depends on time zone) Opera community reached 1, 000, 000 members! And it's growing! I wonder what member I am...Is there a way to find out?
Anyway, today seemed good date (9.9.) to post my first post here, on Opera blog. (numerology of OCD, that is a question
).
I already have bunch of journals/blogs so I'm not sure I'll be posting here often. Not sure what would I post about. Probably some casual, funny stuff. Videos, pics, photos, funny stories...etc. We'll see.

I too maintain a lot of other blogs, but I fell immediately in love with Opera's design and solid feature set. It's a good site with a really fun, international community. I started posting here almost exclusively because I wanted to put my efforts behind a project that was valuable to me. Facebook, myspace, xanga, vox, they're none of them fun for me. Even my own site was too much hassle to maintain, and I don't really enjoy web design...

Well, I have 2 Livejournals, Myspace, dA and now this. I love options LJ offers, but it's really blogging orientated. This on Opera is just for easier meeting of people and communication.
Heh, as the opposite, I'm interested in web design but I'm total dummy. I just spent 2-3 hours googling and bookmarking tutorials and web sites.
I like that people are relaxed here and it's easier to communicate with them.
