Locked out.

, , , ...

p: :o: Yes, I am locked out of some programs on my computer due to setting my account to "Standard" and setting this account on my computer named "ASP.NET Machine Account" to the admin status. ASP.NET is a hidden account and is part of the .NET Aps. Well, if I knew that before doing this, I probably wouldn't have done it. I can't run my defrag programs, install new versions of Opera (currentally 9.52 B10107), or get past any UAC prompt. :o: :faint: Booting into safe mode does not show Vista's back-up Admin account. Until I can get myself unlocked, I won't be very active on MyOpera. P:

So cya until then!

Virtual Piano

, , , ...

Ever wanted to play the piano, but couldn't afford one or don't have enough space? P: Why not try a virtual piano? I came across this while browsing around in the forums. It's a very good virtual piano in my opinion. That's what lead me to my second finding of this, learn how to play Happy Birthday on a piano. :D So, if you have some spare time during the summer, or want to get away from all your work in the office, I'd recommend you try out the Virtual Piano.

:sst: After numerous attemps at Happy Birthday, I've managed to do the first part only. :faint:

Morning Bliss...

:wizard: Dig the new banner? Yes, yes I will eventually seattle down with a banner sometime or later, but this new banner I made just simply had to be put up. But, the image itself wasn't made by me. It was made by *getty over at DeviantART. You can find his gallery here. The wording and effects were added by me using Paint.NET. :D

1) The website that I visit the most and spend most of my time on is MyOpera. :D

2) I tend to get mad at people who say Opera stinks/etc when they've never tried it. P:

3) I change my blog theme a lot, and will eventually settle down with a decent blog theme. :right:

4) The Oriental (Japan, China, etc) countries interest me. Therefore leading me to learn Japanese. :D

5) If one of my computer crashes, my heart feels shot. Yes, I love my computers. P:

6) I hate dial-up, and want to switch to something cheap and faster. But my Dad says no...:o:

How to set up Opera IRC for OperaNet.

, , , ...

First of all, IRC stands for Internet Relay Chat, and is compatible many chat programs. Such as Opera, mIRC, XChat, or Miranda-IM. OperaNet is a chat network where you can communicate with other people in real-time from the MyOpera community. :D This blog post will show you how to set up IRC using Opera's built-in chat client.

NOTE: These steps are for Opera's chat client only.

Pre-Step: Download Opera.

Step 1: Click on: Tools > Mail and Chat Accounts.

Step 2: Select: Chat(IRC) then hit Next >.

Step 3: Follow the on-screen instrutions. On "real name", your first name only is acceptable. After that, enter in your e-mail address.

Step 4: Enter in your nickname. Your MyOpera nickname will do fine here.

Step 5: In the box, delete what's in it and type in: irc.opera.com

Step 6: Enjoy! A box should pop up fetching the rooms from OperaNet. Offical Opera rooms are #opera and #lounge. You can join them by finding them in the list or clicking on 'Join' and typing them in. My offical chat room to discuss my blog posts, photos, and friends chat is #penguin P:. Or if you simply can't wait for me to answer one of your PM's just go here. :D :left: :right:

For more info on how to register your nickname, and how to set a password for your nickname can be found here.

888 unread messages.

, , , ...

The date of the image was August 8th, 2008. Now the Chinese and many other cultures believe in "lucky numbers". And 8 is represented as 'prosper' or 'wealth'. I was checking my dad's email (because he asked me too. What? You think I'm peeping into people's email?). As the page showed, I notice he had 888 unread messages. :eyes: I also remembered that the day was 8/08/08. So I took a sniplet using the snipping tool in Vista to blog it. :D I guess my Dad will soon be 'wealthy'.
