Luckily a very kind family member has fronted me the money in a way - Actually buying me the shoes on their credit card and I'll pay them back in full within the next 6 days. So glad when I hear about people who had their dreams come true. It's a rare thing these days, aint it? Like me. I've always wanted to look like that lad who plays Harry Potter. Women fancy him. He can even wave his wand in public even with the stuff shooting out of the end and all, without being prosecuted. He wears enormous spectacles and school tie and is still considered cool. Problem is, I am so far from looking like him, that it would be like a donkey dreaming about being a Steinway Piano, really.

But you can't blame a fella for dreaming, can you?

Honestly, where would we be without dreams? It's really what keeps us warm in the cold winter nights, aint it? Think about it. Seriously, dreams are what we build the future from. None of us have the faintest idea about what will happen tomorrow, but we all have dreams. And wanting a pair of new boots might seem like a simple and somewhat insignificant dream, but who's to judge that? At least it is a dream that can come true for less than a hundred quid.

I advice you all to enjoy your dreams, cause they have a way of getting fewer and smaller as you grow older - like other similar phenomena, know what I mean? wink

I browse through shoes every day, without even leaving the house. My wife and I both have this seriously bad habbit of just tossing shoes into the wardrobe closet, and they pile up in there, so if I have to get a certain pair of boots, I sometimes have to just pull the lot out on the floor. Honestly.

As I have noted before, I know what you girls are talking about when you talk shoes. And not only because I am married to a shoe-maniac.
