Random Product Review: Original Source Vanilla Cocoa Bath Cream

I'll start by saying this: I'm a HUGE fan of Original Source. I've been using their products since I was a kid and we tried their Mint shower gel (which is as invigorating and tingly as ever) and not only that, but many of their products are Vegan, Fairtrade, and as ethical and natural as possible.
One of my favourite scents has to be vanilla. If it's done right, of course. Vanilla is one of those bathroom products that gives off a feeling of decadence and relaxation; best used for pampering after a really hard time, so when I saw this I bought a bottle.
I opened the bottle to a quite overpowering "fake" smell, but the contents did look good and bubble bath can change in scent as it dilutes more drastically than shower gel, so I poured a good dollop into the running water. It foams beautifully, if you like a fair amount of bubbles, and it mousturises brilliantly, leaving skin feeling smooth and cared for, but the smell is just too sweet and false. The most important thing about a shower/bath creme is that it smells good, and to me, this just didn't hit the spot
Sorry Original Source, but you've made so many fantastic and "true" smelling products, to name a couple, your Almond & Coconut shampoo and conditioner (which I highly recommend) and my all-time favourite, Lime shower gel

(which is zingy and so freakin' gorgeous - and smells true to real limes through application to rinsing, which is rare among shower gels) that the Vanilla and Cocoa bath stuff was a complete and utter let-down. This and your Mint and Chocolate shower gel make for two horrible surprises of products I was really excited for.
However, I still love their stuff, and am currently on the hunt for what could possibly be my new all time favourite:
Limited Edition Almond and Black Cherry shower gel. You get this right, I'ma smell like a freakin' Bakewell Tart.
You get it wrong, I'll still love my favourites, but I'll seriously consider not trying any new products when they arise from this brand.
