Anyway, 'nough about that. Last week was a busy one.
I went to the doctor last week, for the first time since I got ill last year. That was an achievement. Then, to the supermarket where it all went wrong last year - and back again the next day.
There'll be more on what gave me that metaphorical kick up the bum in a FOP in a week or three.

Things're going pretty well for now - it's about time. Well, that's my first post from my own 'pute.
We're up at 6am tomorrow and it's almost time for my meds, so I'll see you 'orrible lot laters.

Good to hear you're feeling better. I reckon that spouse of yours is supporting and comforting you properly. I have a feeling that you are really good for eachothers. This always makes me happy, because I think that a good partnership is the best medicine for whatever condition one can have. Of course it can also be the other way around, but that is an entirely different story.

PS: Nice coat. It's getting chilly outside. Soon darkness will prevail.

Martin - thank you. Mik's a wonderful guy, and as you say, a good partnership can really be a mega contribution in these situations. And it is!
I like the coat too, hopefully I can get one - it's so cold and all I have is an old hoody.

I find that, since I have a netbook that requires setting up whenever I use it, that the phone is easier when I'm feeling lazy.

But there are somethings, like YouTube, that are just too much work to bother with on a phone.

Even if I had a desktop permanently setup and connected, the phone allows greater freedom of movement than any normal computer can offer. (not even a netbook can compare.

Yeah, Youtube's a pain on mobile, and I agree that freedom of movement - and also comfort - makes mobile browsing a good additional option to netbook/pc.

Oh please, don't tell me you actually think those Shape Up shoes turn anyone into Miranda Kerr after 20 minutes of walking. They're exactly like those ab crunch machines - one thing promising to make you into a mean lean fitness machine. It doesn't work. You'd be better of spending the money on some weights, a gym mat or some running shoes.

. No, I regularly do pilates and cardio workouts. I own all three of the things you so kindly mentioned as alternatives for the shoes I want - which are, in case you want to know, purely for posture and circulation boosts.
Might I suggest a little less of a condescending, derogatory, assumptive manner of addressing someone whose blog you're visiting purely as a reason to bitch about something you're rather militant about? Whenever you've visited myself or my fiance all you've done is talk down to those around who doesn't think everyone 5 pounds overweight is disgusting. Otherwise you just make assumptions about people much like you just did about me without any real information to back up your little theories.
By the way, I'm using actual instances that have really occurred here to make this statement. You'd be better off doing the same and not wasting mine and everyone else's time.
Otherwise, just go annoy someone else. I'm tired of you.
