Whassamatter, Kimmie?

,

So, it's no secret that I'm usually unhappy/angry/complaining about something/angsty/ambivalent/upset/ (add and delete as appropriate) about something. So, I thought to myself, "why not make a weekly bit out of it instead of random unintelligible emotional ramblings?"

On that, I welcome you to the debut of,
"Whassamatter Kimmie?"

Well, this week I'm nursing some sore muscles. You see, I tried a new kind of exercise I've never tried at all before. I just... Decided to break from the norm and go for something totally strenuous. It was a really good workout, it made me feel great!

What hurts?
My left calf muscle every time I put weight on my toes
Both inner thighs, meaning I can't stretch the tendons until the joints pop a little, like I do every day
My right buttcheek, man, that just hurts
My right arm.

Funnily enough, I expected major stomach muscle burn, but I guess pilates saved me from that one!

So, yeah. I'm kinda hobbling at the moment.

Was it worth it?
Definately.

Will I do it again?
For sure! It was the best workout I ever had!

And that, dear readers, is whassamatter.

:wonders if it is safe to come out of hiding yet. Moesring was expecting Kimmie to explode due to her dissatisfaction at being asked to provide artistic input. awww:

So, what was the workout? Is it well-known? That way I will know what to avoid.

r♡se 11. December 2008, 23:09

That sounds like a lot of hurting... But at least it's a good hurt, right .

Yeah, what kind of workout was it?

Stomyr 11. December 2008, 23:11

Dacotah 11. December 2008, 23:24

Will Sulk for Food 12. December 2008, 04:00

It was sex, wasn't it? On a gravel driveway? While it was hailing? Near an acorn tree that was dropping all its nuts? In the middle of a meteor shower?

Yes?

That explains it ...

Darko 12. December 2008, 06:01

First half of my life I haven`t practice anything. Then I started with kendo trainings and, even though I was in a solid physical condition (running, mountain hiking), I "discovered" some muscles I thought I don`t have  It happened everytime later when I changed some kind of training and I guess this is what happened to you :D
Yes, what was it you did after pilates?

Tånegl 12. December 2008, 09:27

Er... Well... It's thanks to pilates I was able to do it... And also why I don't hurt today is down to yoga and stuff... Er... The exercise? ...er... Er... Um... Shut up! *runs away*

Dacotah 12. December 2008, 09:38

 :D

Dacotah 12. December 2008, 09:42

:sherlock: Sexercise hey? :D

r♡se 12. December 2008, 09:54

 The only thing that will work out those inner thighs

Tånegl 12. December 2008, 10:06

It's not the only thing... I do inner thigh exercise...

And I wasn't lying, by the way  it was a new form of exercise I've never done before!

Tånegl 12. December 2008, 16:37

I've not done anything from the Kama Sutra! Geez people, you're all dirty

Stomyr 12. December 2008, 17:04

Maybe time to do so..

Tånegl 12. December 2008, 18:13

Nah, I much rather just do whatever my instincts command in the moment :left: I don't try to do specific things... I just let my drives take over

Stomyr 12. December 2008, 19:34

Normally same goes here :D

Tånegl 12. December 2008, 20:03

Will Sulk for Food 13. December 2008, 01:40

But poor Mik still can't walk in a straight line ...

Furie 13. December 2008, 01:57

Maybe not, but that's a crap sobriety test anyway. :drunk:

Kittylicious 13. December 2008, 09:00

Sounds like you had a good time, and sore muscles from excercise usually makes me feel good about myself, because I know I have done something good for my body.

I am also kind of curious about what kind of exercise it was. :left:

Tånegl 13. December 2008, 10:06

 @ Mik and David p: .

Kitty - exactly! I love sore muscles! I was real glad because I got too used to the pilates and they didn't "push" me like I wanted. I've added advanced aerobics now too, so that's helping, and I'm buying myself a rowing machine I've been eyeing up for a while soon. Which is great cause it'll work all the areas I wanna target, and it has adjustable resistance  . And, shush  .

Let me guess, he's one of that sort? :sherlock:

Furie 14. December 2008, 16:44

What a surprise...

Tånegl 14. December 2008, 16:44

What the hell? I share no association, let alone a warm one! :irked: shit like that can lead to arguments, you know!

r♡se 14. December 2008, 17:44

And I thought we had a warm association awww.
I guess it's hot instead :D.

Tånegl 14. December 2008, 18:47

It's smokin' flirt

r♡se 14. December 2008, 18:52

Furie 14. December 2008, 19:39

r♡se 14. December 2008, 20:38

Aadil 14. December 2008, 20:41

Tånegl 14. December 2008, 21:07

 I didn't forget. I was trying to look innocent

Tånegl 14. December 2008, 21:40

Furie 14. December 2008, 22:42

It also involves a weather girl outfit including a pointy stick. :insane:

r♡se 14. December 2008, 22:58

Weather girl? As in :sing: It's raining men!

Kittylicious 15. December 2008, 06:20

Halleluhjah!!!! :hat:

Aadil 15. December 2008, 07:25

I'd use 4.2 more often if my phone could handle it..
But it's more expensive to run, (loads twice as much data per page.) and it gives me a headache on this tiny two inch screen. awww.

Tånegl 15. December 2008, 08:27

 @ Rose and Kitty :D .

4.2 is superior, Aadil, I know... But... I dunno. I get more errors on that when I use it, and while data charges aren't a problem, the headache thing is apparent for me too
