Sufferin' Sucotash. It's a Survey.

The more serious side of you...

What's the most emotionally scarring thing you've had to go threw?: I don't really know. I mean, everything has its impact... But I've always drawn something really positive out of bad situations. I suppose the term "emotionally scarring" (and I shall ignore the fact you used the wrong word for "through") would mean something that has affected me very deeply in a negative way... Can't really think of one, as my mental malais is due to an amalgamation of small negative occurences.
When you wake up in the morning what is usually your first thought?: "What's the time?"
Do you think more during the day or at night?: I think my most deep and profound thoughts late at night, although my rambling thoughts are definitely most frequent during the day.
What's your opinion on "God"?: I believe in a higher power, I just don't know what it is - I'm agnostic.
What's your opinion on evolution?: Actually, I believe in a combination of creation and evolution.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?: I like living here, but I'd like to live in Grum's village. It's where I want to settle down.
Do you think it's wrong to deny gays the right to marriage?: Yes, it's wrong! Adults who love each other romantically should have equal rights, no matter which sex they are inclined towards.
How do you feel about the use of nuclear weapons?: Obviously, I don't agree with it. It's biological weapons that scare me the most, however.
Are you racist or sexist at all?: Yes. I am averse to the Scottish, and also my countrymen and women. It's not fair, I know.
How do you feel about eating disorders?: I do not have much patience for those afflicted with them, unfortunately. I know it's not their fault, and I do feel sorry for them, incredibly so, but I find I lose my temper with those who have realised their illness and decide it's a good quality for them to possess.
Who do you talk to when you're sad?: I talk to different people about different things, but when I'm really sad, my first instincts go to a couple of people I really trust. I'm lucky enough to have friends and a couple family members I love and trust dearly.
Why did you cry last?: You know, I don't really remember. Three days ago. Ish.
What song has the most meaning to you?: That's a question I've not the time to answer fully. Like anyone, I have a plethora of songs that mean very much to me for different reasons.. That evoke different emotions. It's impossible to choose. Really.
Do you think it's important to get a college education?: American College? Well, I've not had education past the age of 16, aside from a few NVQs I acquired before I fell ill. I do wish I had, and I hope to go for higher education one day. It's important for work, also for self-fulfillment, but college would've hardly increased my IQ. I would be more learned, sure.
How do you feel about abortion?: I think that it is sometimes a necessary thing. Sometimes, a baby is better off not to have been brought into the world.
How do you feel about President Obama?: I don't know much about him, and I don't much care for politics - American or British - but I'll say this: I never thought I'd live to see a black president. It makes me sad that the world is this way, so racist. To think that not so long ago America had Whites-Only rules... *shakes head*
Have you ever seriously considered killing yourself?: Yes.
Would you ever become a vegetarian or vegan?: No. I love chicken too much for that.
How do you feel about sex before marriage?: Well, I'm going on my own personal morals that I hold only myself to. For me, it's fine as long as there is love first. I don't really agree with casual sex or one-nighters - but I don't judge people by my standards. It doesn't bother me if other people do it.. Although sometimes you hear about extreme cases and you pity the world.
How do you feel about drugs?: Recreational? Well, I've tried most things, and I just don't agree with them. They fuck you up, big time.
Do you think marijuana should be legalized? Why?: It's safer than alcohol... Personally I can't stand the stuff anymore, but yes, I think it is safer.
Are you stereotypical?: Stereotypical what? Like, anything? I don't know!
Who do you love the most?: Mik.
Does it take a lot to make you cry?: Sometimes not. I'm very emotional. I get upset easily, but more than that, when I'm even a little scared or angry, my adrenaline kicks in very quickly... Which produces shaking and tears.
Would/have you ever cheat on someone?: No, and not that I can forsee.
How do you feel about the media?: Well, they're just doing their job. But... The effects they have on people are often downright horrific.
What's the worst way the media have affected you?: They've influenced me to doubt myself too many times to count.
Do you believe in love? Why or why not?: Yes, because I'm in love. If you'd have asked me before I fell in love, I probably would have said no. That aside, there are different types of love. I love quite a few people. Many I've not even met. But I've been in love with somebody once. Now.
Who do you trust with your life?: I would trust two people with my life. Perhaps three. That's not a reflection on anyone but me, however.
Do you think our society is too look obsessed?: In a word... Yes.

So Many Muffins!Acceptance

"How do you feel about the media?: Well, they're just doing their job. But... The effects they have on people are often downright horrific."

So true. This is why I avoid TV. I can't escape newspapers, though :left:

r♡se 20. April 2009, 14:24

What's NVQ?

there are different types of love

That is so true!

Moesring 20. April 2009, 14:58

Madam Forehead: NVQ

Is it a bad thing if half of the answers didn't surprise me in the slightest - either because I already knew it, or because it was what I expected? :worried:

Is this an old Bzoink test? It's just that I happen to know that Bzoink have changed their test code recently, but this is still in the old style.

Wish I could think of something meaningful to say about this test. I feel like I'm letting myself down if I don't. awww

Carol 20. April 2009, 16:15

Great survey Kimmie, the text is really small, hard for me to read though I tried.

Kitty 20. April 2009, 17:30

That was a "deep" review, calling for a lot of deeper answers.
I read both answers that I expected and answers that came unexpected. Both are okay - it's always nice to learn more about you.

Kimmie 20. April 2009, 19:51

Dark - you can't escape the media entirely, unless you become a hermit or something :left: .

Rosie - I'd answer but Moeboe beat me to it  . I hope you know you're one of the people I love :D .

Moeboe - which ones did you expect, and why would that be bad? I don't expect people to comment, I just felt like being a little more serious for a change  .

Carol - glad you enjoyed - sorry about the text size. This place'll be a lot more friendly to you lot when I've got my pc online!

Kittzie - I'm curious, what did I surprise you with? :sherlock:

Kimmie 20. April 2009, 19:52

Oh! Moe - I took this a few days ago.

Kitty 20. April 2009, 20:15

The racist/sexist answer surprised me, and even though I should have guessed it, I was surprised by the eating disorder answer as well. But as I said, it's all good. It's just what you expect or not, no?

Cσησя 20. April 2009, 20:16

(going out with a scottish girl) Why don't you like scottish people? I think they are quite nice, apart from the silly accent and haggis.

I like your design, but can I just say one thing? The text is a bit hard to read on the pink/purple. Maybe its just from staring at this crappy tv to long though

Carol 20. April 2009, 21:12

I can not wait til you get your pc up and running. :D

Kimmie 20. April 2009, 22:32

Kitty - oh, okies :D . Was just curious - I'm inquisitive by nature, you know  .

Conor - like I said in my answer, it is unfair of me. I've met a fair deal of Scots so far, and have found many of them very... Off-putting. The accent bugs the fucking crap outta me, but more than this, I dislike the Scots for the reason I dislike my fellow Brits - their attitude stinks. Most people in the UK are rude, self-serving morons with the intelligence of a fried mushroom. But that's my opinion. And, as I have admitted now thrice, an entirely unfair one.
My blog design is indeed rough on the retinas, so I hear. I'm too lazy to change it, though. *shrugs* once I'm here via desktop, I'll be able to make it more user-friendly, but for now I haven't the patience or inclination.

Carol - Indeed. I hope to get it up and running by the end of the year, it all depends on what happens financially.

Carol 20. April 2009, 22:38

Jen 21. April 2009, 01:12

Kimmie, I enjoyed your survey very much.

Your serious side is very beautiful.

*muses* I do like how you think and explain things very much.

r♡se 21. April 2009, 07:13

Thanks Moe . Seems I've become too lazy to jfgi :o:.

Kimmie - I do. And I hope you knows it goes two ways

Moesring 21. April 2009, 07:33

Seems I've become too lazy to jfgi :o:.

Or jfwi P:

My blog design is indeed rough on the retinas, so I hear.

Really? :eyes: I don't find it to be garish or whatnot. Maybe I'm style-blind.

Yes, there are a few pet niggles of mine that are present in the theme but that is mainly just personal preference and of no real concern to anyone but myself.

Kitty 21. April 2009, 07:42

I didn't have a problem with neither the text size nor the colour. I would have liked some breaks between the questions, that would have made it easier for me to read, but that's just my opinion.

Cois 21. April 2009, 09:23

A few questions caught me off guard but the rest falls in with some of my views. But after being friends this long it comes as no suprise  that sounds like mushy crap :yuck: must purge :insane:

Kimmie 21. April 2009, 09:24

Jen - you do? Well... Thanks :D .

Rosie - I was hoping you'd say that  .

Moe and Kitty - I've had complaints. It doesn't matter to me for now because I'm on mini, but I'm sure I'll find loads wrong with it eventually. I would've put spaces in this post, but my character limit wouldn't allow it - another pitfall of Mini.

Kimmie 21. April 2009, 09:26

Oh Sam, you fool me not p: neener neener... I love you too buddy  !
.

.

Cois 21. April 2009, 10:14

You scare me woman :insane:

Jen 21. April 2009, 12:28

Kimmie 21. April 2009, 12:53

That's da plan, beeyatch

Marike 21. April 2009, 14:55

It is hard to say something, guess the natural reaction would to compare your answers to what I would have and I can say, I do agree/feel similar to many... *hugs*

I use mini aswell and it frustrates the hell out of me sometimes :irked:

Cσησя 21. April 2009, 16:31

I find the accent pretty cute to be honest  Providing its a girl talking, not a hairy old scottish man in a kilt* :insane:

I post is fine, just the comments are harder to read..

*That last part was added because you I saw Clint comment :left: Can't be to careful...

Kimmie 21. April 2009, 18:35

Marike - it's nice to know we're on the same page... Well, in the same chapter at least p: . Mini is a pain, but without it I dunno what I'd do.. If they suddenly started charging for usage of Mini I'd lose everyone here for a long time :frown: .

Conor - each to their own p: Just cause it grates on me don't necessarily make it a horrible thing for the rest of the world, ya know what I mean?
You really find the comment backround tough on the eyes?

theoddbod 2. May 2009, 15:05

I see your God answer is almost the same as mine would be :D

Kimmie 2. May 2009, 15:43

Yay, you're as indecisive as me :hat: p:

Carol 2. May 2009, 15:44

Cσησя 3. May 2009, 22:47

It's good now.... I have a better machine to view it on now

Kimmie 3. May 2009, 22:58

Late reply much?

Cσησя 3. May 2009, 23:01

I was having a bad day... :sst: The mark all as read button called to me.

Kimmie 3. May 2009, 23:05

Ah. I understand  we've all been there. Some of us on a regular basis.

Cσησя 3. May 2009, 23:06

Yeah, but I usually try to make good on my alerts

Kimmie 3. May 2009, 23:26

Me too, but the button's there for a reason. To help us retain the tiniest shreds of what's left of our sanity.

Cσησя 3. May 2009, 23:32

:left: I was born without sanity. My doctor will tell you that :D

Kimmie 3. May 2009, 23:40

Sure

Cσησя 4. May 2009, 00:14

Not kidding though :left:

Kimmie 4. May 2009, 10:25

If you say so p:

r♡se 5. May 2009, 08:57

Awww! Look at that picture!
It's so lovely, I almost didn't announce my return .

Carol 5. May 2009, 12:58

:hat: Welcome back Rose-Marie.

Kimmie 5. May 2009, 19:06

Hey Rose. Welcome back x

r♡se 6. May 2009, 07:52

Thankies Carol

Kimmie

Carol 6. May 2009, 09:23

You are welcome Rose-Marie.
