Woke up mega-depressed for some reason today. Had a bit of a mard, and playfought with Mik. Cheered me a little. Mik motivated me to go into town with him, where we traded some stuff in at our friendly independent game/dvd store and with our cash we bought...
Season 4 Part 1 of Supernatural!

I was moping over not being able to get it since the release on Monday. You guys know that it's my favourite show of all time. Mik gave in not cause I'm cute and puppy-eyed, but because I'm really annoying.
*jumps about*

Factoid: I bugged Mik the whole walk home by swinging our hands together chanting, "Yaaaay, Supernatural, Supernatural, Supernatural!"

I must say, I preferred the short-lived pink/purple member pic over the current one although maybe the current one will guilt-trip her into returning early. awww

Mik gave in not cause I'm cute and puppy-eyed, but because I'm really annoying.

I think you'll find the first part played quite a significant role as well - although being annoying will have helped. :wink:

I was tempted to write something to the effect of: "Be grateful the kitty wasn't there. She likes being petted - particularly when My Opera goes down. :yes:"

When I look at that image now, all I see is the kitty watching you and Mik commence petting during My Opera's downtime. :yikes:

True story, I had to read the fighting sentence twice, cuz the first time my brain didn't compute the "play" part, and I thought you maybe liked to fight. :lol: *shrugs* I thought, eh, to each their own.

Every once in a while, I get to something that makes me go :confused: So I read it again, and sometimes my brain has skipped something! :o:. Such was the case.

Jen - ah, I see. I don't really understand speed reading - I read very quickly as it is.. I find people look at me suspiciously when they've watched me and I announce I'm done, so I tend to quote it all back to them so they know I'm not lying :irked: . Happened last week at my Gran's. Dunno how people do it. Maybe my brain's missing a little chunk or something. Or something :left: .

Three months ago, he said it was called Odin due to its recent efforts. How much of that claim was bravado is open to speculation, however. :sherlock:

Moving very swiftly on, how exactly did you irritate Mik into getting it for you? Is it the sort of thing you have taken pictures of, for example? :D

It's what Swaer watches a lot. My brother has the compact package, which basicaly means that everything I'd want to watch hp is not available. p:.
Of course, since my brother lives in the Freestate, and I live in KwaZuluNatal, it doesn't really matter much. :rolleyes:.

YES! What annoys me more is... Well there's this show called Jericho. Quite interesting but it didn't get the viewers in America so they cancelled it three episodes into the second season. Now I'm expected to pay £20 for those three episodes rather than them including them on the first reason box set.

Tru Calling, another promising show that got cancelled just as it was getting interesting, released it's set as The Complete Tru Calling, including the five or six episodes from season 2 that were made before it got cancelled. Considering how many cut down series we got recently due to the writer's strike, that would be the way for most shows to do it until they're back on track.

I'm late but anyway.. Don't do spoilers.. My mum has the full DSTV package with PVR recording.. So when I'm here I can watch back episodes whenever.. Also *coughpiratedcough* dvds are common like chips and nephews etc interchange like it's a freaky yard sale..

Jericho got interesting but I lost interest after a while..
Fringe is my new favorite show although it's lacking in some aspects.
