Completed Kinder Set #1

,

A few weeks ago I finally managed to complete a set of Kinder Toys. A small set, but the first nonetheless.

Fluffy baby dinosaurs, freshly hatched from shiny eggs. I'm not that fond of these, but I was really happy to get that little yellow one!

They're actually pretty cute now I think about it :D

Spaggyj 22. August 2009, 13:15

191 :D

Moesring 22. August 2009, 13:17

191? That's about the right number of Minstrels to eat... an hour.:Minstrels:

gdare 22. August 2009, 14:47

Marike79 22. August 2009, 16:19

Okey awww p:

gdare 22. August 2009, 16:22

Or something similar....

Marike79 22. August 2009, 16:29

Is that yours Darko?

Spaggyj 22. August 2009, 16:57

That's not so different. Some of my toys look similar, the sets vary a lot more now though.

Zaphira 22. August 2009, 18:44

Very cute indeed - and 191?? :whoa: That's a lot! :eyes:

You finished another series also, didn't you?

Spaggyj 22. August 2009, 19:34

Yeah, 191 different toys so far, plus loads of duplicates I've given away or chucked in the bin :D .
I did finish another, I'm posting about it tomorrow - and it's only my favourite set ever! How lucky is that?

Stomyr 22. August 2009, 20:40

gdare 22. August 2009, 22:22

@Marike - no, I never collected them; I just ate a chocolate

clean 22. August 2009, 23:03

But ... where's the chocolate? It's not complete unless the chocolate is there!

:aww: Those little baby dinosaurs are cute! Keep them away from Mik, though ... he'll start feeding them and training them to be the new Furtopian advance guard!

Spaggyj 23. August 2009, 08:32

Most of the chocolate went either in the bin, or in the stomach of a loved one p:

gdare 23. August 2009, 09:25

What a waste of a good chocolate awww

Spaggyj 23. August 2009, 09:47

I don't eat much chocolate, I only buy them for the toys awww

Furie 23. August 2009, 10:11

Cheap chocolate and didn't you see the "stomach of a loved one" comment?

clean 23. August 2009, 12:06

So ... a 'waist' of good chocolate, then?

Furie 23. August 2009, 14:34

Currently a hammock as we're using imperial measurements.

gdare 23. August 2009, 16:45

garlingmatthews 23. August 2009, 19:52

Kinder were always waaaay to expensive when I was... younger.

Spaggyj 23. August 2009, 20:03

They're like, 60p each now :faint: I often get packs of 3 for £1 though.

garlingmatthews 23. August 2009, 20:28

Cool. I don't think they were much cheaper than that in Ireland twenty odd years ago.

Spaggyj 23. August 2009, 20:36

I seem to remember them being half that price when I was little.

rose-marie 25. August 2009, 19:01

 They're actually pretty cute. I've never seen any Kinder chocolates containing anything else than plastic toys.

Spaggyj 25. August 2009, 19:21

I think years ago there were wooden ones, and I've also seen some metal figures, but only photos of them awww

rose-marie 25. August 2009, 19:30

Wooden ones? :eyes:

Spaggyj 25. August 2009, 19:37

Yeah. Makes you think, "Medieval", right?

clean 25. August 2009, 23:12

Kinder is that old?

Spaggyj 26. August 2009, 08:42

It'd be cool if it was

Zaphira 26. August 2009, 12:20

Wiki states that Kinder surprise originated in 1972. :D

Spaggyj 26. August 2009, 12:32

Oh, that's no fun

garlingmatthews 26. August 2009, 21:00

Something that's older than me !

Spaggyj 26. August 2009, 21:02

You ain't old then p:

gdare 27. August 2009, 04:53

I am older than that awww

P:

Spaggyj 27. August 2009, 08:24

You're not old, either

garlingmatthews 27. August 2009, 08:48

Old is a state of mind. I'm waiting for my teens to kick in.

clean 27. August 2009, 09:58
