More Random Life Stuff

:star: I've become part of a test group run by a leading research company and Nokia. All I had to do was download a small application which'll measure what I do on my phone, and I get a £10 high street voucher every 3 months. Don't worry, it's kosher.

:star: The uncle I lived with when Grum adopted me is coming to Leicester to visit her this weekend. It'll be the first time any of us have seen him in years. I'm glad he'll be seeing her.

:star: I just cut about 7 inches off my hair to encourage it to grow. It's really lopsided. Mik's sulking a little.

:star: I'm trying to purpleise my avatars and member pictures. I don't keep photos for long though. Still not satisfied with the current ones, but they'll do for now.

:star: I'm waiting on preorders and stuff now - Fallout 3 Game Of The Year Edition, the second series of Big Bang Theory, and the fourth of My Name Is Earl.

:star: I'm making lasagne tomorrow.

:star: It's dawned on me that I've not written anything in the form of poetry or stories for a while... Guess there's nothing in there for now.

:star: I don't like excessive compliments. It makes me very uncomfortable.

:star: I got a couple of things in the mail today. A black and grey striped hooded top and a blue jumper-dress. I'm pleased with them, I really needed warm stuff. Especially love the hoodie.

:star: I've been handwashing clothes lately - we only have communal laundry facilities, which cost a lot, make the clothes smell bad and often, your stuff is in danger of theft or ruin. I like handwashing stuff though.

:star: I ordered a double bedsheet after last week's blunder - it fits great. The only colours were beige, white or black, so I got black. Every speck of dust shows up  !

:star: Watching Buffy over again. It gets funnier p: .

:star: The guys that live in the flat above us seem to be doing some kind of work on their place... And it's after 10pm :left: .

:star: I need new slippers.

:star: I'm tired and cranky, and most people seem to be really out of sorts lately :right: .

:star: I'm bored with this now p:

Diabolical 8. October 2009, 22:30

You've got such a great way in making the words flow.. and you make such great lasagne!. And you've just got this great way of watching things! :D.
You're so bored it's friggin awesome!

Dacotah 8. October 2009, 23:08

SpongeBob slippers? :D

KYren 9. October 2009, 03:19

:chef: Never eaten any lasagna. We don't have any washing machine. My mom washes clothes with hand. Why do you like purple color, Kim? Test nokia group? I am jealous.

Zaphira 9. October 2009, 05:23

I hate washing clothes by hand, it's so boring!! :left:

:sst: The picture of a sulking Mik made me snigger! :D

gdare 9. October 2009, 05:41

Ok, I will come to lunch today (lasagne *drools*) and will bribe pay it with a new slippers

As for your neighbour, is it maybe that Rose`s neighbour moved to England Furtopia?
:insane:

Spaggyj 9. October 2009, 08:18

David - you like lasagne, huh? :eyes:  . I won't send it, but I'll make it and send a photo to you to piss you off if you like  .

CB - oh hadehaha  . Actually that is pretty funny  .

Carol - my old ones are Spongebob... I'm just going for non character ones this time though.

Kiran - I handwash too. Lasagne is nice, you might like it. I just like purple. It's my favourite colour! Yeah, it's just an application that measures stuff. I don't have to do anything but upload data from it now and again!

Kitty - I like the old-fashioned ways of doing things, for some reason :left: . Mik's not really sulky, but he liked my very-long hair  .

Dark - Actually, paying with new slippers would so work!
Could be evil twin neighbours - and I resent the fact that you assume I live in Furtopia :irked: p:

clean 9. October 2009, 08:30

Meanie!

Diabolical 9. October 2009, 09:19

I've never made lasagne.. Right.. Who's posting? p:

Zaphira 9. October 2009, 09:21

I've prepared for a lasagne post. I "just" need to write and post. :D

theoddbod 9. October 2009, 09:26

I just cut about 7 inches off my hair to encourage it to grow

This makes no sense to me at all p: I've heard of the expression "got to spend money to make money", but a hair equivalent sounds a bit silly :left:

Diabolical 9. October 2009, 09:39

Kitty.. Get cracking! :chef:.

Mart.. I've heard that and somehow strangely it seems true. My hair gets a snip or trim and it seems to grow faster.. Of course hair is just dead cells and snipping them really can't encourage growth as the growth part is in the scalp!.
It's all just a old cave girl tale methinks..

gdare 9. October 2009, 09:56

It is proved it grows faster during summer... I think :left:

Spaggyj 9. October 2009, 10:04

David - always p: .

Kitty - coolie  .

Mart - well, no. It's meant to be about an inch... I've made it about ten now. It's gonna go all two-tone what with the dye growing out, so I'm trying to speed it up p: .

Sam - hair does grow faster if you trim it :left: . And shut your yap, dogbreath.

Darkie - really? :right:

Diabolical 9. October 2009, 10:11

awww

gdare 9. October 2009, 10:34

Nails too....

Spaggyj 9. October 2009, 10:49

Huh!

Dacotah 9. October 2009, 11:17

Kimmie, when I do the Click a Day thing I see slippers and these ones I keep seeing I think you would like:
Purple Paw Slippers

Spaggyj 9. October 2009, 11:25

Yeah, I've seen those too, actually wanted them for a while. There's a cool robe too. I think it's all in dollars though, and I dunno what the bank would charge for conversion...

Dacotah 9. October 2009, 11:28

Cool slippers, I'll have to look at the robe too. x

garlingmatthews 9. October 2009, 14:53

Buffy rawks! And Firefly. Tempted by the new J.W. series, Dollhouse, too.

Mangling clothes is a bitch.

rose-marie 9. October 2009, 15:03

Better be careful with what you do on your phone now, then p:.

I'd love to see pics of your new loopsided hair :D.
:sst: And yes, hair does grow faster when you trim it occasionally. I think it has something to do with getting rid of split ends and such.

I  lasagne. I want lasagne. I don't have lasagne. awww

Spaggyj 9. October 2009, 15:37

Gavin - surely does. Firefly's on my list, I'll get to it eventually when it's cheap enough. Dollhouse is one of the best shows I've ever watched. Can't wait for season 2.

Rose - it's not like I watch porn or take naked photos anyway :left: .
Hair's not interesting really, it's just shorter. I actually would like it even shorter than it is for now, but Mik'll flip. I had lasagne. I always burn my mouth when I eat it, it's too good to let it cool

garlingmatthews 9. October 2009, 17:35

It was pretty cheap on Amazon.co.uk when last I looked, and Sendit.com

garlingmatthews 9. October 2009, 17:35

Spaggyj 9. October 2009, 17:45

I shop mainly on Amazon - last I looked it was about a tenner. Unfortunately there's about eleven other things on my list, so unless it drops to like, £5 or something, it's probably gonna be a while.

Stomyr 9. October 2009, 21:35

:star: I don't like excessive compliments. It makes me very uncomfortable.

2 days ago I saw a similar comment between 2 users on a Hungarian forum. It was like :

It is not good that we keep having the same opinion - I'll start :
Fuck YOU!

Spaggyj 9. October 2009, 21:40

That's funny  ! I don't mind compliments anymore, I've even learned to accept graciously, but when people go on and on and on all the time... :yuck:

Stomyr 9. October 2009, 21:41

So should I start? xD

Spaggyj 9. October 2009, 21:41

Spaggyj 9. October 2009, 21:50

Stomyr 9. October 2009, 22:05

Really? I would have never guessed P: :D

garlingmatthews 9. October 2009, 22:10

For the benefit of those of you that don't have english as your first language, "lasagne" is pronounced " la-zan-ya" p:.
If there could only be one smiley, which would it be?
