My OperaBlack Eagle is here, tested!

So, I took my time to get my Black Eagle M6 Airsoft sniper rifle. It’s just beautiful! Black color, lenght 115cm, and weights over 2kg! It uses BAX Accuracy sistem, and has an effective shooting range over 55m, and power of 1J (1 Joule). It’s made from ABS plastic and steel. I tested it with 0.25gBB, so it was a little bit dangerous… If you don’t know what Airsoft is, please check my mini encyclopedia in the menu of my blog!

I also made a few shooting tests:
- Accuracy test
- Power test
- Airsoft battle
Accuracy test:
For accuracy thest I chose five different distances - 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 metres. The whole test was performed ina controlled area, so no people were harmed or seriously injured. I have to say, that this rifle does de job at all distances! Becaouse of the so called “hop up system”, BB isn’t just flying and falling on the ground, it spins in the oposite way of clock’s direction, so the BB just floats (straight) in to the target. Without that sistem, the shooting range would be a half smaller! So, this gun passed this test definately.
Power test:
So, after succes in accuracy test, it was time to check the power of the gun. So I have chosen six (6) different distances to shoot from: 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 metres. So, I started with 5 metres and a piece of metal. The shoot was so powerful, that the metal bend on the spot, where the bullet impacted. The next range was 10m. This is the range, where this rufle should deliver the most powerfull impact. So, I put on the table a big book. The impact was so powerful, that the bullet penetrated trough 34 pages! From 20m you could penetrate a pasteboard! From 30m the power of impact is enough to penetrate 8 pages of a book. 40m and 50m are the distances, where the bullet slows down. The impact is enough to penetrate trough 2 pages of paper. The rifle passed this test!
Airsoft battle:
In close battle - forget about this rifle! You will get owned with a AEG machine gun quickly. The power of the rifles like the Black Eagle M6 shows up in ambush. Pick a spot and quietly wait for a victim. When the victim comes around - of course if you aim good - will be dead/shoot. Of course we are talking about virtual death, not real one
Another + for this gun is it’s lenght - that makes the gun very precise. The only thing that’s missing is some more power in the gun - 1J isn’t enough for snipers - at least 1.5J is needed, to make sure, that you will be able to take shots from long distances. So I recommend, that you upgrade the spring of the rifle.
