Arctic Atmospheric Sights

The 22nd of November saw the sun set for the last time this year. It will return in 58 days on 19 January 2010. On the last day the sun just skimmed the horizon for just under an hour, never getting high enough above the small strip of clouds.
The attached picture was taken the day before, right at noon low on the southern horizon.
