As some of you know, the recent wedding of my co-worker was just a real cause for celebration. The wedding photographer and his wife did an absolutely fabulous group of preview photos. This small sampling are some of my favourites for the perspectives and original ideas with the scenery at hand (it was at a farm, remember...).

I have never been as impressed with the love poured into a wedding as the one from my co-worker, Michelle. The couple's friends from their church organized and put so much effort into making a truly down-to-earth and enjoyable day.

One of the big drawbacks to the internet is lack of personal touch. This year was one of those rare opportunities to actually meet an Opera friend and her family on their home turf. Here are some pics of that meeting.

I have mentioned to a few people how homely I looked as a kid. Also included are some other life moments.

A few photos of a lovely evening with an equally lovely friend (who asked not to have her picture posted).

The wife of a friend of mine is BIG into stamping. She had hand-made many cards for special occasions over the years. They are lovely works of art that get better each passing year.

My biggest regret was losing a beautiful Christmas card - a gold angel on a kelly green background. :frown:

A long time ago I worked as a caretaker in a cemetary. It was very peaceful. It is interesting to imagine the many communities that once existed and read the stories of those who lived there.

The most underrepresented aspect of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada is the natural beauty of the Niagara Escarpment. There are lots of Conservation Areas inside and around the city. It's more than "Steeltown".

Remember the post from July where one of my oldest friends had come in from Toronto? The original intention was to combine his photos with mine in this album. I'm just not waiting any longer.

The key thing none of these pictures adequately capture is how BIG the Avro Arrow really was. It was HUGE! I was awestruck the whole time at the museum at the size of this plane. Unless you see this full-size replica in person, no photograph does the scale justice.

Winter means white and cold. There is also a large palette of design that snow and ice can create. I've tried to capture a bit of that...

The name above is my little take on Romans 12:3. The thought is: "no matter how much you polish a nickel, it will never become a quarter" - it's proud of its value just as it is.
