Face forward - even if not moving forward

Highway Star is a national Canadian trucking magazine. One of their regular features is a photograph of some thing or place and the readers let the magazine editors know where in Canada it is. When the October issue came out, I knew where the elephant statue was located since I lived in that small city for 9 years. I submitted my answer, which went in for a draw for a number of hats - there is no automatic prize for a correct answer. Didn't think anything of it until an envelope came today with the hat inside. Nice!
