Gifts

A number of gifts have come to me of late from different people for different reasons. All are treasured. Or eaten. Or lost.
The first is a lovely sampling of fine chocolate from Gavin. No jelly beans. Canadian postal system and machines. ‘Nuff said.
The next is a cute little building collection from Pisa, Italy. It is only about 4 inches long. A couple from our church went to Rome for a holiday in the fall of last year. They purchased this along the way and brought it back as a “thank you” for regularly helping them with computer things and other odd jobs.
Debbie purchased this desktop ornament display. Just because.
A clock, compass and lovely personal note. So thoughtful.
Debbie also bought me a tin of sardines. I do enjoy them and she saw them on sale; so the first thing that popped into her head was, “What Would Jesus Do?” And so they were given to me with a cute note and decorative snowflake.
Lastly is the gift of Debbie’s middle child and youngest daughter. About the day after announcing our engagement, Stephanie has deemed herself to be our wedding planner – and has been doing a good job of scouring around for lovely deals (she did much the same when doing her own wedding last summer). Decisions, decisions, but the items presented to us have been lovely – and delectably cheap.
Very likely reception place: Ancaster Old Town Hall
(includes photo permit and easily handicap accessible for our parents) …

And I'm so glad Jesus would buy you sardines. He's super nice that way
That Debbie, yuh, she's a keeper.
The town hall looks a lot like a church. It's very pretty! I like it

Oh yeah: don't forget to vote on my new poll! Multiple selections can be done.

Mailman: "hmmm...this is a box...that machine is for paper thin letters...this is not a paper thin letter...what should i do? why do we even put paper thin letters through this rolling machine thing? WHY? WHY DOO WE DO IT??!!!"....*inserts box into paper thing letter crushing machine*
UGH! For some reason i feel like writing and asking for detailed explanation of what goes on there.
*deep breath*
ooo pretty building! Looks tiny from the outside then huge inside! Although maybe thats just a picture illusion. I think i picked a good month with May, when it will be sunny and green just like this photo

What does the 'az' mean at the end of 'bestguyever'?
What a beautiful hall to have your wedding reception party in!
