BREAKING NEWS: Street Fighter IV Is Coming To Wii and DSi!
Wednesday, 1. April 2009, 15:14:02

Rejoice, people of the world! Capcom has just announced that the highly anticipated fighter, Street Fighter IV (which was only available on PS3 and XBox 360) is going to be ported to Wii and DSi!
Although no specific release date was given, Tsujimoto Kensou, Capcom's CEO, did say that we should expect the game to be out by the end of the year. So, who knows, maybe it'll be released alongside the PC version? Keep your fingers crossed.
The Wii version, according to him, will feature most of the game modes and characters found in the other console's, plus a secret unlockable character, exclusive to the Wii version, and one of Nintendo's own IP.
As for the DSi version, it will be available only as a downloadable game, so DS owners will have to sit this one out. Gameplay will be fairly similar to its 'big brother' version and will attempt to retain as much of the visual style as possible. Online play, though, is NOT going to be available for the portable version; local multiplayer, however, is going to be possible. For this multiplayer mode, it was said that if the two DSi units have a copy of the game, they'll get a full version multiplayer, whilst if only one of them has it, only a handful of characters and two stages will be selectable.
