pets, dogs, spots, opinions ...

Let me introduce myself. I'm Spots. I am a family cat with an attitude and strong opinions; I weigh in at 40 pounds (I do some boxing) and proud of it...no one messes with me. I reside in a good Christian home with my both parents and 4 brothers. I'm very happy...we all are. I get fed before I'm even hungry and get my belly rubbed on a consistent basis. I'm kept nice and warm in winter and cool in summer. What more could a cat want? My mom and dad allowed me to have this blog, so, I'll be regularly writing my opinions on stuff and if you want my opinion on anything, please ask. Oh, in case ya didn't know, that's me over on the right...yeah, the fat white cat with the black spots (that's why they call me Spots)/ Meow for now. Spots

For all of you with teenagers or who have had teenagers,

or are a teenager, you may want to know why they really have a lot in common with cats: – Neither teenagers nor cats turn their heads when you call them by name. – No matter what you do for them, it is not enough. Indeed, all humane efforts are barely adequate to compensate for the privilege of waiting on them hand and foot. – You rarely see a cat walking outside of the house with an adult human being, and it can be safely said that no teenager in his or her right mind wants to be seen in public with his or her parents. – Even if you tell jokes as well as Jay Leno, neither your cat nor your teen will ever crack a smile. – No cat or teenager shares you taste in music. – Cats and teenagers can lie on the living-room sofa for hours on end without moving, barely breathing. – Cats have nine lives. Teenagers carry o n as if they did. – Cats and teenagers yawn in exactly the same manner, communicating that ultimate human ecstasy — a sense of complete and utter boredom. – Cats and teenagers do not improve anyone’s furniture. – Cats that are free to roam outside sometimes have been known to return in the middle of the night to deposit a dead animal in your bedroom. Teenagers are not above that sort of behavior. Thus, if you must raise teenagers, the best sources of advice are not other parents, but veterinarians. It is also a good idea to keep a guidebook on cats at hand at all times. And remember, above all else, put out the food and do not make any sudden moves in their direction. When they make up their minds, they will finally come to you for some affection and comfort, and it will be a triumphant moment for all concerned.

spots, christmas shopping, gifts for pets, Christmas ...

well...it's that time of year. me and my buddy Garfield are both making our Christmas lists. there's just so much i want and lots of presents i need to buy. i always want to go with mommy shopping, but, they tell me i can't go in the mall cuz i'm a kitty cat. i sure hope it's nothing personal. in case you talk with santa, please tell him what i really want is lots of tuna fishy and pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeaze don't forget to tell him it's for Spots (that's me) and my 2 brothers. thanx!!! oh, by the way, about santa...that would be Spots, the kitty cat in New York...the fatty white one with the 3 round black spots, ok? (just makin' sure)

see him??? can ya see him too??? that's the guy i see every time i look into my mirror, except, no one else sees him but me!!! oh, and he doesn't have any black spot under his left ear (i kinda though that my spot gives me character and distinction)...so, don't we look lie twins???
