ME
31 images
These are pictures of myself, taken over the years. Yes, there are big gaps in the ages of the pictures, but I'm not one that really liked my picture taken, though at one point, I did have my picture taken a lot. I no longer have them pictures.

New Cat & Bear Singers
9 images
Black Cat with Pumpkin that sings "Black Magic Woman" and Red & White Bear that sings "I Just Called To Say I Love You"

My Mother-In-Law Tongue Plants (Snake Plants)
9 images
These are pictures I took today of my plants that I have. I keep them in the apartment during the colder parts of the year, and outside in warmer parts of the year. I try to keep them in the windows, so that they get the natural sunlight as well during the winter, and since i only have space for a few of them on the window ledge, i switch them back & forth.

Collectible Dolls
56 images
This is where you will find all of my collectible dolls that I get from now own, not just the ones that are there right now.

Windchimes & Suncatchers
30 images
These are the windchimes & sun catchers that I collect. Where I live at, they don't allow them to be in the windows, so I hang them from the walls & from the entryway between the dining room & living room. Hope you like them.

Are They Doves, Or Are They Seagulls
1 images
You decide by looking at this picture which ones they are. If you can't tell me what they are, I will tell you. I will also inform you that this is a PICTURE of the original picture that I took in 2001, when I took my trip to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. This is truly an amazing picture, especially once you find out which one they really are. LMAO

Praying Mantis
4 images
Pics of a praying mantis & another bug that were sitting on the entry way door to the apartment building, really early this morning.

Storms
12 images
These are pictures I just took of the sky today, a bird that didn't make it through the storm last night, and the Snowball Bush outside my window that I was waiting to take a picture of when it was WHITE, but couldn't do because of the storms we have had lately.

A Stroll Through The Shores
79 images
These pictures were taken while I was at my fathers. Most all of them were taken in early evening, before 6pm. On some of the pictures, I took duplicates to see what they would look like using both the regular flash and the night flash as well. The ones that I did this with, I think, in my own opinion, that the ones with the night flash came out better than the ones with the normal flash. Also, my father lives about 1/4 mile off of the shore of the Tittabawassee River (and yes, I already know I spelled it wrong on the "tags" for the pictures, so DO NOT correct my spelling of my tags). The area that my father lives in is called Albright Shores, it is the eastern most part of Beaverton and has the same zip code, but is actually big enough to have its own zip code. Will add more pictures the next time I go over there, of the river from the center bridge & from the dam area of the river.

Harry Potter 2007 Calendar
15 images
This, like LOTR, is this years calendar. I also own all the movies that have come out on this series, and am in the process of getting the last 2 books. I already own the first 5 books. Hope you enjoy this collection as well as the rest of my photo album collections.

LORD OF THE RINGS 2007 CALENDAR
15 images
Though this is this year's calendar, I thought I would post it even before the year is over with. I like The Lord Of The Rings, and I own the original soundtrack from the 1970's (and NOT the animated version either). I also own all 3 of the movies as well. Enjoy.

My Self Painted Manger Set
77 images
This is a collection of the pictures that I have taken of one of the Manger Sets that I own. I bought this as a kit that needed to be painted & put together. The only part of this set that I did not have to put together or paint that much of, is the MAIN part of the Manger itself. There are also a few pieces in this collection that I did not paint, as they are plastic and thought that they looked good with the set, so I added them. Hope you like the added items. Hope you enjoy this set as well as the others (there will be 3 more ablums containing 3 more sets of mangers).

CHRISTMAS COLLECTIBLES
8 images
This photo album contains MOST all of my collectibles for the Christmas Season. The ones that are NOT contained in this album you can find in either my Mangers Album or my Stuffed Animals Album. Enjoy all three albums.

Halloween Collectibles
103 images
This collection of my collectible items is based solely on what I have for the Halloween & Thanksgiving Seasons. Hope you enjoy it.

AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL 2006 CALENDAR
14 images
This calendar has the words of the song "America The Beautiful" through out the pictures in it. I thought this was a nice tribute to America, but I know that some would disagree with me on it, so I am just posting the pictures with the words, and NOT my feelings about it.

NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC AWESOME ANIMALS 2004 KIDS CALENDAR
16 images
This calendar displays pictures with details about each animal it shows in it. Listed with each picture, are the details about them. Enjoy.
The following is quoted from the inside front cover, for your reading pleasure. All animals are pretty
. There are some species, however, that have such distinct characteristics and abilities that there's only one word to describe them: awesome! Take, for example, the cheetah. With sprinting speed of over 65 miles an hour, this quick cat could rival a car on the highway. Then there's the three-toed sloth. It would take a sloth nearly a month to travel a mile. But sloths aren't lazy-they're clever. By maintaining a snail's pace, they are less noticeable to predators on the lookout for sudden, furtive movements. In fact, all animals have traits or talents, called adaptations, that help them survive in their environments. For instance, we know that cheetahs run fast because their survival depends on catching prey. The secret to their speed is the design of their bodies. Their long legs, extra-long shoulder blades, and large shoulder muscles allow for extended, rapid strides. A cheetah's strong, blunt claws and ridged footpads enable it to get good traction on the ground. A deep chest, powerful lungs, and large nostrils make it easier for this cat to breathe in air as it sprints.
Or consider teh African Elephant. Standing up to 13 feet tall and weighing more than 7 tons, it towers over most of the animal kingdom. And an elephant's ear, at six feet long and four feet wide, is so big you could probably use it as a tent. Elephants use their ears for more than just hearing. They flap them like two gigantic fans, which helps to cool their enormous bodies in teh steamy African climate. Guess you could call it "ear" conditioning!
From the slowest fish to the longest snake, some animals in this calendar are in a class of their own. You'll visit jungles, deserts, rain forests, oceans, and streams to discover these amazing creatures--each one awesome in its own special way.

NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC--OUR NATIONAL PARKS 2004 CALENDAR
13 images
This photo album contains not only the 12 pictures from the normal calendar, but also contains more than 40 others from a weekly calendar as well. Though some of the photos are a little blurred, it couldn't be helped. I did all I could NOT to get them blurry, but they still came out that way. If I took the picture with NO flash, they came out too dark, with flash too bright (as the flash reflected off of them), in a room with bright light from ceiling--still some glare from light, so I was sorta out of choices on some of them. Hope you enjoy this album and the many other albums I have here as well.
Below is quoted from the inside of the "12 Month" calendar. It is also stated on the weekly calendar as well. There is quite a bit of information listed here, so read carefully. One of the world's largest nonprofit scientific and educational organizations, the National Geographic Society was founded in 1888 "for the increase and diffusion of geographic knowledge." Fulfilling this mission, the Society educates and inspires millions every day through its magazines, books, television programs, videos, maps and atlases, research grants, the National Geographic Bee, teacher workshops, and innovative classroom materials. The society is supported through membership dues, charitable gifts, and income from the sale of its educational products. This support is vital to National Geographic's mission to increase global understanding and promote conservation of our planet through exploration, research, and education.
OUR NATIONAL PARKS (By Ron Fisher)Head down and lolling, feet turned inward in a pigeon-toed shuffle, the bear emerged from the drizzle and mist like a phantom and approached the shelter where I stood watching with other backpackers. It was a black bear of teh eastern mountains--Ursus americanus, full grown at perhaps 250 pounds, virtually harmless in most situations, but grumpy and determined when food is to be had. The year was 1971, and in those days shelters along the Appalacian Trail in Great Smoky Mountains National Park had one wall of chain-link fencing--to keep the bears out. This particular bear ambled up to within a few feet of our shelter and stood sniffing audibly at us. It was a reversal of the expected order of things: an animal on the outside peering at humans in zoo-like cages.
This was one of my earliest experiences in a national park, but I've had many since. I've knelt to examine redwood seedlings in Redwood National Park; I've ducked heat lightning in Everglades National Park and watched as white birds soared against the black sky as if lit by strobes; I've marveled at mammoth recreational vehicle, en route to parks, lumbering up hills with bicycles strapped to their front bumpers, overturned boats lashed to the top, and family autos in tow; I've furiously snapped photos of the erupting Old Faithful; I've sniffed the salt air as I hiked the rock-bound shores of Acadia National Park. but though I've visited scores of our parks, there are scores more that I'll never get to. One lifetime is not sufficient.
Western artist George Catlin may have been the first to suggest the idea of a national park when, in 1832, he wondered whether Indian civilizations, wildlife, and wilderness might be preserved "by some great protecting policy of government...in a magnificent park." Forty years later Yellowstone became the first such park, set aside for "the benefit and enjoyment of the people." Westward expanding railroads were among the groups lobbying for more parks--they wanted destinations for their passengers--and by 1916 the Interior Department was managing 14 parks and 21 national monuments. The National Park Service was created that same year "to conserve the scenery and the natural and historic objects and the wild life therein...unimpaired for the enjoyment of future generations." By the turn of the millennium, the National Park System of the U.S. comprised 384 areas covering more than 83 million acres in 49 states, the District of Columbia, American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico, Saipan, and the Virgin Islands.
The parks are like snapshots of our couontry as it existed years ago, for in a way they represent moment caught in time. Visit Yellowstone Park and you'll find a landscape very much as it existed a thousand years ago.
To be designated a national park, a site in our North American neighborhood must be worthy indeed. The richness of our park portfolio guarantees that, if it's called a national park, it will take your breath away. Our national parks have brought joy to millions over the decades. Many people remember their first visit to a park as part of a family summer vacation.
Today many of our parks are under attack as perhaps never before. Threats besiege them from every side: encroaching development, polluted air and precipitation, exotic plants and animals, overcrowding and underfunding. They are the envy of the world. It would b tragic if they became merely distressed remnants of what once was.
Ron fisher visited many national parks during his 30 years as staff writer and editor in National Geographic's Book Division. Now retired, he lives in Arlington, Virginia.
