well, i got tired of ppl saying i'm rude, crude, inconsiderate, etc etc etc...then turning around and putting me on ignore, without even telling me what i did wrong to make me "rude", "crude", "inconsiderate", etc...

so this is my way of getting them back for saying that i am that way...

now they have something to complain about

I know what they are talking about. THere is a way about your
manner that comes off as rude. But I think that you are just
being honest. (but in a rough way)

I first met you by you accusing me of stealing a picture from
someone's blog. That was completely UNTRUE. And really pissed
me off that you did that, also I remember me trying to nicely
give you advice for your blog or something......and you paid
me back by ranting and raving about something......I have no
clue, I chose not to read the whole thing.

So that is what people are talking about.

I have a question for you? Why be so brass with people?

for me, it is more out of the fact of being honest, and ppl hating me for it. a lot of ppl don't like the fact of my honesty, so they therefore do everything they can to piss me off.

i play in a lot of pool leagues on yahoo, and have even been kicked out of leagues, bcuz they say that i am "too brutally honest for them".

well, in my opinion, if someone/anyone don't like my honesty, then they don't deserve to have me either in their league or as someone on their messenger lists.

if honesty is NOT wanted by people, and they can't handle the truth, then y even bother...its getting to the point where ev1 would rather have someone LIE to them, than tell them the TRUTH about things.

this has never been further from the truth with me. if i can't be honest with people, then y bother even trying to talk to them...cuz it won't do ne good.

as for the friends that i have made on Opera here, some of them don't like my honest opinions, some do...ev1 has their own opinions, but, if u don't like my honesty, tell me, don't just put me on ignore to where i can't remove u from my friends list or ne thing else.

and if my honesty about things comes off as being rude...then fine, its that person's opinion of my honesty.

and, as u know, though we started off rocky, we have worked that out, at least i hope we have...

To be honest with you, not all people are 'confronters' like yourself and I at times. They just don't want the drama or the trouble...

I have felt the wrath of what you had to say (in the beginning) and all I could think was, "how dare her, she doesn't even know me and didn't ask any questions as to where I got the picture!"

So now that we are friends.....who put you on ignore? I have been put on ignore by Mik and Kim, lol. We had a bit of a falling out, and I am sure others have put me on ignore too. I just say ohh well what the hay and move onto other friends! :lol: I mean, why waste precious energy on them? I would rather just stay friends with who likes my personality and earnestness. Some people I REALLY don't get, they are HYPER sensitive. But I see that you can throw a punch but also take them, that's good. Just don't hit first the repercussion could be more than you are willing to deal with...like loosing good friends or having no friends at all....or even worse..having friends that take it and take it without hitting back.

Dear Kim, your 'frank & fearless' approach shows readers that you are "true to yourself". It is obvious, from the friendships that you have and those that endure, that you are a very kind and decent and generous minded person, able to 'share' your sorrows and your joys in even-handed manner with the world.

In all of the 'melange' that exists in the 'virtual world' of communication, among the diverse written comments, philsophy(s), opinions, viewpoints, discussions and so on, there will always be shards of insincerity and bullshit, placed there by uncaring and, all to often, 'ruthless' folk, in order to trap the unwary.

Why this should be so is not a complete mystery but it would need many pages of analysis to explain this lamentable aspect of human behaviour. Let us just say that such things are so and do our best to balance them out with positive and supportive messages.

We are all, essentially, the same in the widest sense but what makes us different also makes us unique. If anyone feels 'betrayed' or 'let down' by anything that someone else has said it is better to move on and to accept that such things happen, but if it is a 'misunderstanding' between friends who respect and admire each other then there are good reasons to try to 'mend fences' and to retain the value of the friendship.

I guess there always will be some things that are simply 'illusions' in the marketplace - 'fool's gold' as it were. When we come into contact with these and we realise what they are then we should not place too much value on them.

it really :irked: me when andy did that, just because of a comment about a petty little story such as "The Ugly Duckling"...would not have thought that he of all ppl would get offended by such a petty remark...but he did.

but yes, that is past, but sometimes, it still :irked:s me as much as it did when he first did it.

@ carol...yeah, i know...and sometimes i do get a little "off the wall" with the way ppl THINK that i say something...but all u gotta do is read it, and u will realize...i mean no harm in it.

I tend to just not notice my inbox. Opera Mini has a procedure that puts long lists of links into a pull down menu and I use it to save scrolling too much. It crushes the inbox and watched items together so I hardly notice when I've got mail, until I'm out of my watched stuff. Sometimes it takes days.
