SHELLS THAT I CROSS STITCHED

Below you will find the pictures of the Shells that I have been stitching. I started these before I left Florida for Michigan. I am now finished with them. There are 2 sets of 3 pictures. The reason for this, is that I made each shell as a single, and then put them together as they are on the graph.

Let me know what you think of my stitching. Also, I think some of them could use different colors. Let me know what colors you think should be in them. I won't say which ones I thought should have different colors, I will let you tell me what you think.

like what colors...thats what I want to know...what colors should I use...I plan on making more sets of these, but I want to use suggested colors

wow, kim, you are very good at that. i am impressed.
me being a great shell collector since childhood would like to see cochinas the tiny triangular clams,(which come in every hue and shade), arranged in spectrum spiral. i plan to paint it some day... a lovely Caribbean lagoon with a six year old boy arranging them on the sand.

you could do a cool nautilus using complementary colors, orange and purple, yellow and blue, red and green. that would sing.... :happy:

right now i am working on doing all of them on one piece. they will be much smaller in size than these ones are, and as soon as i get that set done, i will post the differences in sizes here for all to see. i am also doing them in different colors than they show on here now. let me know when i post them in another post, what you think of those colors as well.
