PROGRESS

You will be happy to hear that since I stopped using the Thyroid medicine, I have lost 30 pounds. I had gotten up to 315 pounds, my highest ever weight. Never in my life had I been any heavier than 125-135, unless I was pregnant, to which I went up to 195 (and lost it very quickly as well).
So now I just have a couple of more things to do.
1. Get out and walk more.
I did the most walking that I have done in several months on the 31st. I had to go into the bank, so things wouldn't bounce, and in doing so I walked more than I had in over a year. I walked a little on the first as well, by taking Moses for a walk to meet up with Jaxs at the bus stop when he hit the last bus on his way back home.
2. Keep eating and resting the way I have, because I feel that this has also helped in my loss of weight.
I have slept quite a bit the last 2 months, for unknown reasons. Probably my body catching up from all the sleep it hasn't gotten. But who's to say why I slept that much. Lately I have been getting up and staying up all day without taking a nap. This has been rare lately, as I am always laying down only a few minutes to a couple hours after I wake up.
3. Try to keep the weight coming off.
If this part can be accomplished, then I should be fit as a fiddle for next summer and be able to go to the beach again without feeling like I'm a beached whale.

I will try to keep it up, but its hard. Especially when you go for almost a full year without walking anywhere but to the bathroom and backyard.

You can do it, though! You've already been doing it, so just keep up the good work!

I started Kim on a very good Kelp supplement. Kelp naturally has what the thyroid converts to a hormone that aids in controlling weight. Thyroid converts iodine. This is a major problem with many women and not being able to loose weight. Kim does not have a slow thyroid and never should have been put on thyroid medicine. I butt heads with the doctors all the time
The next thing I will be putting Kim on is vitamin D3. Vitamin D is broken down to 3 categories. Vitamin D is absorbed by the skin when out in sunlight absorbing the UVB rays. Vitamin D2 comes from plant sources and Vitamin D3 comes from animal sources.
A deficiency in this Vitamin can cause Epilepsy, Weight problems, Depression, Fibromyalgia, Heart problems including high blood pressure, Diabetes type II, and a lot of other health problems.
I be putting Kim on a capsule because the liquid is better absorbed and converted in the body than a powder or tablet. Many times powder or a tablet is completely useless because the body can't break it down and absorb it.
Kim is down to 4 prescription medicines. 2 1/2 years ago Kim was on some 18 medications or somewhere in that neighbor hood.

Also Vitamin D3 deficiency is the root cause of irritable bowel syndrome.
