THE NEWS HAS ARRIVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had mentioned in a prior post that I was waiting on some hopefully good news.
I got that news at 2:51 pm Eastern Time today.
Everyone knows that I love to write my poetry. Well, today, at 2:58 am Eastern Time, I submitted a RAW MANUSCRIPT for publication acceptance.
This afternoon, I got the e-mail telling me that my manuscript was accepted for publication.
I only have 30 poems in it at the moment, and they require 50. This won't be a problem for me, as it is one of my favorite things to do, write poems.
I was allowed to put 15 images into the book as well, and I chose 15 that Jaxs and I took, instead of using the images that you see here on my blog with them.
We are so happy. This couldn't have come at a better time for us.
I really have to thank Jaxs the most, for his encouragement in this, as it probably would have never happened if he hadn't kept egging me on.
I also have to thank John (Locutus Prime) for his encouraging words when he came over and commented on some of my poetry as I was adding it to my blog. Thanks for the early encouragements and your help in letting me know that poems don't actually have to rhyme to be a poem like I thought they had to all while I was growing up.
Next to getting up and abandoning everything in Michigan, and taking the first steps to moving down here to Florida, getting my poetry published is the most exciting and thrilling thing I have ever done in my life.
When there is more news of when, where, and how much the book will be sold/published/cost (respectively), I will let you all know.

As I stated in the post, I have to add 20 more to it before I can call it finished. I think I now have 10 more left, as I have been writing tonight while Jaxs was going over the contract before I sign it.

@ Carol...no, I would not allow my book to be published by anyone that "I HAD TO PAY" to get it published.
Jaxs does look out for me and I had him read the contract and all before I even committed to it.

Of course I would purchase the book. The second reason for publishing your work is to hopefully make a few dollars . The first reason is purely for self. At least it would be for me.
