ABOUT MY BOOK

I had my poems up here on my blog for almost 5 years.
During that time, there were hardly any comments on any of them. The ones that did have comments on them, I appreciate that people took the time to make them.
Lately, I have been being asked about why you can't preview any of the poems in my book that is now available on Google Books. The reason for this, is that Google only does a certain amount of pages in their previews, and because of the way my book is laid out, you don't get the poems unless you buy the book.
I feel that after almost 5 years here on Opera, if my "FRIENDS" were that interested in reading my poems before they went to book format, they would have read them and commented on them here before I removed them.
I do not intend on changing the format of my book, just so that people can get a preview of my poems in the book. To do this, would mean to have to reapply for a NEW Copyright on it, a new ISBN for it, a new barcode with price for it, and spending even MORE money to get it out into the world of the Internet for people to buy it.
I am working right now to get the funds together to get it into print. I have several that I need to buy myself, for autographed copies for family and special friends.
This in itself might take another 3-6 months, but it will be worth it in the long run, so I really hope that my "TRUE" friends will be there to buy it when it goes into print for paperback and hardcover.
For those of you that are satisfied with the e-book, you can purchase it at The Thoughts of an Image Writer. When you go to the link, click on "Books and Merchandise", then click on the link made by "The Thoughts of an Image Writer", and you should end up on the page to buy the book. Let me know if you don't.
With that being said, I hope I didn't piss to many people off by this post, but I feel that it had to be said. I'm just getting a little bit tired of people "EXPECTING" to see things that they can't without purchasing the book. And also getting tired of the fact that these same people had almost 5 years to read the poems before they went into the book.
Take Care and enjoy your visit here on my blog.
