I know what you are going to say, "With all the pictures you have of Moses, why are you now calling him a cat?". This is simple.
If he can't get Jaxs attention, he comes over and pounces all over me until I get up.
A good example of this, is from this morning.
Apparently he couldn't get Jaxs attention, so, knowing I don't sleep too hard (sometimes), he came over and started pouncing all over me to get my attention.
When he did, I got up thinking he needed to go out.
Well, he may have wanted out to being with, but he had an accident on the floor. So, when I did get up, he turned around and snuggled up next to Jaxs and wouldn't budge.
Apparently he decided it was time for me to get my ass out of bed, and time for Jaxs to be his bed partner for a while.
Needless to say, that didn't work too well, when I told Jaxs that Moses had an accident on the floor, because Jaxs got up and cleaned it up. So, Moses wound up WITHOUT a bed partner.
Thanks Moses, I was sleeping nicely.

So far, I have posted about just some of my adventures here in Florida. There are still many things that I have not posted about.
As you all know from reading my posts, I recently made a return trip to Michigan, the first of September.
Though the bus trip up went a little smoother than the one coming down, I still had problems with the seating situation.
Once up in Michigan, all hell broke loose.
First, I found out that Uncle Bill wasn't as sick as he was saying he was in order for me to come up there sooner than I wanted to. Because of leaving so close to getting my ticket up there, it cost me half of my SSI check to get the ticket. I got a little bit of a discount, because I bought it on line, but it still cost me way more than I actually wanted to pay for it. Also with doing this, it meant that I had very little to last the whole month in Michigan.
During the week I was at Uncle Bill's, he started pulling his old bullshit again. If he was as sick as he kept claiming he was, he would have never went to trying that shit. I won't go into details, but those that keep up with my posts, know what I am referring to.
When I first came down to Florida, I wound up having to leave almost $100 worth of snacks at Uncle Bill's apartment. When I got back to Saginaw in September, I found that he had eaten every bit of the snacks that I had left there. What an asshole. That was the first thing that pissed me off when I got there. The next was what he kept pulling.
So, needless to say, I didn't spend too much time there with him. After only about a week there, I had to have my father pick me up and take me to his place, where I stayed the remainder of my time in Michigan.
At my father's place, as usual, he was an asshole. He has this very bad habit of calling me "wide bottom" after the Pontiac car. Excuse me, but father or not, there is no call for calling your daughter names, no matter what the reason is.
Not only that, he did nothing but put me down in every way he could think of. Insults more than put downs. Things that he thought were funny, but to me were not funny at all. Every time Jaxs would call me, he could hear the way my father talked to me.
My father would try to talk to Jaxs on the phone, trying to be nice and all that, then turn around and call me names, like dummy or wide bottom or things like that. He does this all the time. It don't matter who it is that calls there for me, he is the same with everyone.
When Jaxs got to my dads, he did his best not to blow up at my dad. He also made it clear, without saying anything, that he didn't like what my dad called me or how he talked to me.
Its pretty bad when even your father talks to you the way strangers would talk to you. And my family wonders why I stayed as far away as possible from them.

As most of you know, back in March when I first came down to Florida, the trip wasn't all that good. I had called and gotten the control number that I needed for my special seating. I got on the bus, and the driver told me they didn't have such an order.
With limited time on the phone that I had, I couldn't use it too much. I called Jaxs and told him what was going on.
First, I was told I couldn't sit in the very front seat by the door. That it was limited to the handicapped (which I am) and the drivers stuff. This is NOT true in any case. The part of it that is true, is the handicapped seating.
Once on the bus, after arguing with the driver, I was seated in the front where I needed to be. After that, I wound up with the same problem all the way down to Florida. Every stop that we changed buses or drivers, it was the same.
At one point, the driver even made me sit about 8 rows back on the bus, meaning that with my claustrophobia, it was extremely hard for me to breathe properly. I was finally able to get back in the front of the bus, when that passenger moved out of the seat at one of the layover spots.
The people that were there, didn't mind that I moved their stuff, they told me that if I had asked them, they would have moved for me, but that the driver had told them that they were to stay where they were and not move.
When I finally got to Atlanta, Georgia, I was hysterical.
I was waiting on Jaxs to get there, and thought that he should be there by the time that I had gotten there. He wasn't. Though he was on his way to me at the time, the fact of it being an unfamiliar place, really hit hard, and I wound up in a very bad anxiety/panic attack.
Someone called an ambulance and the security guards on me, but I refused to go anywhere. I tried to explain to them that I was waiting on Jaxs to get there, but that he hadn't arrived yet. I got him on the phone, and he was finally able to explain to them what was going on. By that time, I had already pulled out my C-PAP machine, and turned it on.
The reason it took Jaxs longer to get there than it should have, was because of all of the construction that was going on (and is still going on). Because of the construction, and it being dark, Jaxs missed his turn, and wound up somewhere else. The security guard had to tell him where to go to get back to me.
When Jaxs finally arrived, it took him a while to get me calmed down. I didn't calm down completely, but I did calm down some. He finally got me into the van, and we were on our way.
At first, I didn't want to lay down, like I needed to do. I wanted to sit up front with him. I did that until I couldn't stay awake any longer. I then went into the back end of the van and slept on the seat for quite a while. When I woke up, we had just passed the Florida/Georgia state line. Unfortunately though, I had to PISS. So, Jaxs had to take the next off ramp and go back to the last on ramp to the freeway and then to the rest stop.
I took pictures of the trees and some other items there, and although they came out a little dark, I do still have them. Once I figure out if my computer has Blue Tooth on it, I will transfer everything from my cameras and phones to this computer and start posting them for all to see.
And from this point on, I have been blogging about my adventures here in Florida.

I called and talked to my friend Uncle Bill this morning. He apparently isn't doing too well.
He asked me to come home.
In my eyes, this means he is going down hill, as he would never ask me to do this, if something wasn't wrong.
I will be leaving on the 2nd @ 5pm headed back to Michigan. I am due to arrive in Michigan @ 9:30 am on the 4th.
I will try to update my progress when I can. Jaxs will keep all my friends updated on my progress as I take the bus up north.
I have 3 layovers. First is in Orlando for 30 minutes. Second is in Atlanta for 3 hrs 35 mins. Third is in Chicago for 1 hr 10 mins.
During this time of travel, I will not be able to update anyone except for Jaxs. He will fill you in. Please check his blog for posting as to how I am doing.
I don't know the exact date that I will be back in Florida, but when I leave Michigan to come back, I will have him let you know.
If I decide to stay in Michigan longer than a month, I will let you all know, somehow. I need to stay there for Uncle Bill. I need to be with him, if anything happens.
Will talk to you again soon, need to get ready for the trip. Will miss you all.

This is a bird that I have never even heard of before today. Jaxs son, Chris, found it wandering around on one of the main roads here in Vero Beach. Seen it was hurt. Called Jaxs. Asked what to do with it. Jaxs told Chris to bring it over and he would look at it. Jaxs then went to the apartment and got a sheet to wrap it in. We took it over to a lady that works with animal rescue. From her home tomorrow, she will take it to another spot, where it won't have to worry about the traffic any longer.
This bird is the most beautiful black that I have seen on a bird. Its tail feathers actually shine blue & green in the sunlight, instead of the black that they are. Its neck is a brown color, and it has gray on its wings. Here are some pictures that Jaxs took of it, me with it, and a video that he took of it while it was in the bathtub at the other lady's house.

One Month

For those of you that have been keeping up on my Florida excursion, it has now been a month since I arrived here. Since my arrival I have done lots of things with Jaxs. We got my State I.D. for Florida. We got my SSI transfered here. We got me a copy of my birth certificate (which I never had before). We got me my own library card so that I don't have to use hers for the computers there. We have been taking almost daily walks on the beaches here. I have lost more than 10 pounds already by doing this, and I am happy about that. I also have started a sea shell collection. Will add photo albums soon. I have also been to West Palm Beach Airport, Orlando Airport, The Port of Miami (where the cruise ships dock), and South Beach area of Miami. Those were trips made to either pick up or drop off clients of Jaxs'. Tomorrow and Wednesday we will be going to Orlando again. We will be able to let me visit other places in Orlando tomorrow. Will be nice to see more than just the airport this time. I have lots of pictures and videos that I have taken, so watch for those to be posted soon. I am glad that I made the choice to move here. I am enjoying it. I hope to have many more adventures and fun here with Jaxs. I truly enjoy the time that I get to spend with Jaxs, especially with his schedule, which is always changing at the ring of the phone. LOVE YOU JAXS FOR ALL YOU ARE DOING FOR AND WITH ME.

I have to say a big THANK YOU JAXS. The reason for this is that with his help, and the daily walks, I am now down to 240 from 250+ when I first came down here. So I say its time. Thanks Jaxs, I couldn't have done it without you.
