Back in the US

Well, I'm back in the US. I woke up Monday at 4:30am, after about 2.5 hours of sleep. Got on the tram at 5:10 to Oslo S, took the Flytoget to Oslo Airport, flew to London at 7:55am. Landed around 10am. Had a 4 hour layover at Heathrow. Killed time by going on Facebook for an hour, and attempting to sleep on some chairs. Got on a plane and flew for 11 hours from 2pm GMT to 5:20pm PST. Took a BART train to Hayward, where my roommate picked me up at 730pm when I finally got home. So about a solid 24 hours of traveling later, I'm at home. I stay up for another 3 hours, thoroughly exhausted since I didn't sleep at all, and crashed at 11pm. Slept til 8am this morning and now I'm back on CA time, only slightly jet lagged. That 9 hours of sleep definitely helped.
Things I missed:
I don't really miss Oslo right now. The cold sucked, having to bundle up all the time. The summer is much better there. I DO miss the PEOPLE. My Friends. All my old friends, new friends, whatever. I love all you guys, and hope to see you all again. Hopefully I'll be back in June/July. God bless! Steve loves you!
Things I missed:
- Warm weather, note the graphic to the right.
(fahrenheit)
- American variety, so many more choices
- The food... I got a huge ultimate cheeseburger at Jack n the Box for lunch. Awesome!
- MY CAR. Aw, I missed my baby. Driving feels so good.
